Great updates Karin! I love Bobby and Pam a lot. I hope things work out for them and that they are able to reconcile permanently after Bobby deals with his feelings for his wife Ann even though it is a no brainer that he belongs with his ex wife Pam because they are perfect each other and they are soul mates dispite the fact that I feel a little sorry for poor Ann since Bobby cheated on her with his ex wife Pam.

Wow. Bobby really is still the jerk that he was in the TNT version. He forgets that he also promised Pam he'd never leave her and let's face it...he and Pam would legally still be married if Pam pressed it. There's no way in her medical state that she ever signed divorce papers or would've been in the right state of mind to understand if she did scribble a signature with badly burned and heavily bandage hands. Katherine would've forged her signature and therefore, the divorce would be null and void. Also making his subsequent marriages null and void.

Pam should sue Bobby for half of what's rightfully hers and forget the jerk named Bobby Ewing.

Just to clarify, Pam should take Bobby to court for half of everything, including Southfork; not for herself but to give Josephine and Christopher. Wanting it for herself would seem like a woman scorned and something Sue Ellen would have done as a JR obsession.

There's currently nothing Bobby could say to make his morning after treatment justifiable and Pam should find someone worth her time. Bobby and Ann deserve to be in misery together now.

I too have wanted a Pam and Bobby reconciliation and Karen redeemed Bobby previously but not now. Now he's a complete jerk and I can't imagine any way he can be redeemed from that...unless it was a nightmare lol.

Thank you everyone for the feedback and ratings.:hat:
I think it's fun to read your feedback and see how some of you have different opinions and are rooting for different characters and couples etc.

In the case of Bobby/Pam or Bobby/Ann naturally all of you can't have your way since he can't be with both women. But I hope you will keep on reading until the end and I think some of you will be pleased with the way this story ends up. ;)

@CeeCee72 that's true enough. Also considering the fact that Bobby is married to Ann I think it would be unrealistic if he didn't feel at least a little guilty about cheating on her.

@Mrs Bobby James Ewing well it's no secret that I love Bobby & Pam too. They were my favorite couple when I first watched the original Dallas. Later on they got tied with JR/SE for my favorite couple. But I was a Bobby & Pam shipper first. Yeah poor Ann is not gonna be happy when she finds out about Bobby cheating on her that's for sure! :(

@Laurie! thank you for your feedback. I'm happy to learn that you are also reading this story. :)
You are right about Bobby. He was acting like a total jerk here and it does suit with the Bobby we saw on Dallas TNT, as he was more of a jerk there than on the original show. :(
I think Katherine tricked Pam into signing her divorce papers somehow. After all we saw her do it before with the letter. So she probably just told Pam that she was signing over her Wentworth stock to Bobby and nothing about also signing away her marriage. I am sure Pam didn't want to divorce Bobby and maybe she would have some legal ground to fight for her marriage. But it is complicated since if Bobby & Pam's divorce was illegal it would also make Pam's marriage to Leone illegal and although he is dead now, if their marriage was illegal it would affect her and Leone's adoption of Josephine. So Pam has no interest in messing with the past. Besides let's not forget that Christopher would not want Pam to fight with Bobby. He asked her to drop the lawsuit since he wanted his parents to get along, otherwise he would exclude her from his son's life. So Pam has no interest in going after Bobby's property and sue him since it would damage her relationship with Christopher. Besides why should Pam make a claim on Southfork when Christopher will inherit Bobby's share of it some day?

Then as for where Bobby and Pam stands now. Well they both love each other and Pam wants to be with Bobby but he is married to someone else so he is feeling guilty and confused. He doesn't know what he wants right now. So well keep on reading and you will see if there is any way to redeem Bobby or not.

@Pammy P Sorry to disappoint you but no, Pam and Bobby's second divorce was legal. Neither one of them have any interest in contesting that for reasons I've just explained.
Oh Bobby will confront Ann about Harris the next time he sees her.

But first it's time for a business meeting...

*

The board meeting at Ewing Global had already started by the time that Bobby finally walked in through the door dressed in jeans, shirt and cowboy boots. Sue Ellen, Christopher, Josephine, John Ross and Pamela Rebecca gave him some strange looks when he arrived, as he so wasn’t dressed for the occasion. “Bobby, what the hell has gotten into you?” Sue Ellen asked in a concerned voice. “You look like you’ve come straight from the ranch!”

“I’m sorry but I was,” Bobby said sheepishly. It wasn’t exactly the truth as he had been to Pam’s house in between, but he hoped that nobody would notice it.

But unfortunately for him Christopher did. “You were out working the ranch?” Christopher gave his father a skeptic look, as he couldn’t help but noticing that his father was wearing the same clothes as yesterday when they had been out working on the ranch.

“Yeah, I forgot all about the meeting,” Bobby lied. He felt guilty for lying to his family, since he knew very well that’s not where he had been. But JR had told him a long time ago that the secret to a convincing lie was to stay as close to the truth as possible and technically it wasn’t a lie. He had been out working the ranch. But he had been doing so the day before.

“Well it’s a good thing we’ve gotten some reinforcement in this company then,” Sue Ellen said before turning to her son. “So John Ross, how’s the deal with Judith Ryland coming along?”

“Just fine, I have a meeting with her tomorrow,” John Ross replied.

“Good because we need that Arctic oil yesterday,” Sue Ellen said before turning to her nephew, “Christopher how’s your methanol project coming along?”

“Methanol?” Josephine questioned. “I thought we were in the oil business.”

“Well we are in the energy business,” Bobby explained, as he sat down next to his son, giving him a proud look. “Christopher here has been looking into developing alternative energy sources.”

“I see,” Josephine nodded, as she scribbled down something in her notebook in front of her.

“So any progress son?” Bobby asked.

“Um...not at the moment,” Christopher sighed.

“Why not?” Sue Ellen questioned.

“Because I’ve been taking some time off work to spend it with Elena and Drew,” Christopher explained.

“Oh well I guess you’re entitled to some paternity leave,” Sue Ellen said before turning to her daughter in law. “Pamela I expect you’d want to take some time off too once the baby is born?”

“Naturally,” Pamela nodded.

“Pamela’s gonna make a great mother,” John Ross smiled at his wife, who smiled back at him. “I can’t wait to become a father.”

Listening in on John Ross and Pamela Rebecca’s conversation about becoming parents Bobby couldn’t stop his mind from going back in time to another conversation that he’d had with his Pamela back when they had been newlyweds.

Bobby had been standing at the bathroom brushing his teeth when Pam had called out a riddle to him, “What do you get when you cross a Barnes and a Ewing?”

Her question made him pop out his head through the bathroom door, looking at his wife, who was sitting on their bed, dressed in a blue slip, “In the first place you never cross a Ewing,” he had pointed his toothbrush at her, not getting what she was trying to tell him.

“Uh,” she’d made a face.

“Sorry,” he’d apologized and returned into the bathroom. “Alright what are the two possible answers?” He’d asked before he’d put the toothbrush back into his mouth.

“A boy or a girl?” Her words had caught his attention and as realization dawned on him he’d taken the toothbrush out of his mouth. He’d looked stunned as he’d walked up to her, dressed only in a black towel that was wrapped around his waist. She just smiled at him as she had rendered him speechless. His emotions was in turmoil as he wondered if he was really ready to become a father. Assuming that’s what his wife had meant. He’d then pointed the toothbrush towards her belly and seeing her nod he had felt such joy and pride come over him. It was true they were going to become parents.

“Wow!” He’d gotten out before he’d leant down and given her a tender kiss. Then he’d looked straight into her eyes that was filled with such happiness and love for him. “I love you.”

“I love you,” she had said emotionally, before her whole face had lit up in a big smile. She had never looked more beautiful to him than she did in that moment. She’d lifted up her hands towards his cheeks like if she was going to touch his face, but before she had a chance to do so he’d screamed out his happiness and lifted her up into his arms before he broke out laughing. She’d laughed out loud, as they’d fallen down on their bed together, their legs getting entangled and him kissing her neck. Her hands were in his hair and then they’d kissed each other and of course they’d ended up making love that morning. It had been a joyous occasion, a celebration of that their love had created another life.

But sadly their baby had never seen the light of day. Pam had miscarried their baby shortly afterwards and looking back at their life together now Bobby could see that they had never been happier than they were that morning when they had made love. They were so young then and had such a promising future ahead of them with their first child on the way. They had lost two children during their marriage and sometimes he still wondered who those persons would have grown up to be. Like on the day when Pamela Rebecca had miscarried her twins. That had been horrible since it had brought him right back to the loss of his own babies. He had felt his son’s pain then. But they hadn’t really talked about it since for so long Pam had been a sort of taboo topic around the house. A ghost from the past that was better left forgotten. Yet with Pamela Rebecca in the family Pam had been the elephant in the room all the time. Because every time he had heard the name Pamela being mentioned he couldn’t help but flinch and remember his Pamela. This morning was no exception, as hearing the name Pamela being repeated constantly throughout the meeting Bobby couldn’t help but thinking of his Pamela. In fact no matter of how hard he tried to concentrate on the meeting he just couldn’t get his mind off her. His whole being was consumed with her. He remembered the night they’d just spend together and the look on her face when he’d told her that he wasn’t sure he wanted to divorce his wife for her. She had been angry with him and it had been justified. He could see why she’d gotten the impression that he’d leave Ann for her and a part of him was tempted to do just that. But another part of him wanted to stay and fight for his marriage. He was so confused right now that he didn’t know what to do. All he knew was that he couldn’t concentrate on business this morning and it was all because of her.

It's your story so of course you can write it however you see fit but Pam would have been high on pain meds and therefore, unfit to sign a legal document whether Katherine tricked her or not. We saw how she printed "I love you both" on that paper in the hospital...like a Kindergarten child.

Bobby's portion of Southfork would also be split with Ann, Emma and Lucas so if Pam got half, Christopher would stand to gain a bigger portion and Josephine would also get what's rightfully hers.

Josephine is an adult so if the adoption was null, it wouldn't make a difference now.

Christopher stands more to gain if Pam fought for half so I doubt he'd be upset. That's all I'm saying.

Great update

And I feel like I want to defend Bobby a little bit here. He's been with Ann a long time. It's natural he'd be conflicted.

Of course, he should have resisted sleeping with Pam until he had Ann sorted out, IMO.

Thank you everyone for the feedback and ratings. It's much appreciated. :)

@superman fan I know Bobby lied just like JR would have done!
Then again Bobby also left Cliff to rot in that Mexican prison because JR told him to do that. So he had acted like JR on previous occasions.:(

@Laurie! I agree that Pam was not fit to sign her divorce papers. Bobby should have realized that and question her decision when he got them. It made no sense that he never looked on her and just gave up on her beacause of that one letter. If anything Bobby acted out of character then on the show. Sure he was hurt but still he let Pam go and that is something that he has been forced to deal with in this story.

I don't think Southfork is community property in Bobby & Ann's marriage.
My interpretation is that the ranch belongs to Bobby and therefore Ann's daughter should have no claim on it. Lucas wouldn't have a claim on it either since Ray legally adopted him in this story. So Bobby's share of Southfork would already go to Christopher and considering that Josephine never knew JR as her father and has never lived at Southfork I don't think it is fair for her to have the same claim to the ranch as Christopher and John Ross who grew up there. But I do see the point you are trying to make.

@CeeCee72 I am glad that you are defending Bobby. You are right he has been married to Ann for a long time. So his reaction is understandable.
I also agree that he was wrong to cheat on Ann. But then again he did cheat on Jenna with Pam. It was not fair either. He should have broken up with Jenna first and then gone to Pam.

Speaking of Pam, tonight's update is about her.

*

Afton found Pam in the kitchen, making pasta and bologna sauce for lunch. She was chopping the minced meat with a wooden fork in such an aggressive way that Afton could tell that she was really upset about something. “Pam calm down. I know cooking can be a drag but there’s no need to attack the food like that!”

“I like cooking just fine,” Pam replied.

“Then why are you taking out your frustration on the food?”

“Because I’m angry and hurt,” Pam said in an upset tone of voice and Afton just knew who had caused this mood.

“Bobby?”

Hearing his name, Pam stopped in the middle of her movement and looked like she was about to cry instead.“How did you know?”

“I saw him leave this morning,” Afton told her.

“Oh no,” she gasped, as she feared the worst. “Did Josephine see him too?”

“No she had already left the house by then,” Afton said and Pam draw a sigh of relief.

“Good since I don’t need her to tell me I told you so.”

“So I take it things didn’t go well with Bobby?”

“You can say that again,” Pam sighed. “I don’t understand it. We spent the most wonderful night together and then in the morning it was like he just changed completely and was acting so guilty. Like if we’d done something wrong.”

“Well technically you have. I mean he is married,” Afton pointed out.

“I know that but you were the one who told me not to pay any attention to that,” Pam reminded Afton before adding sarcastically, “Thank you very much.”

“You seriously can’t blame me for whatever happened between you and Bobby?”

“Well you did give me some very bad advice. I mean I’ve never been involved with a married man ever before and if this is how it feels...” Pam bit her lip hard, almost drawing blood from the pain. “It’s horrible.”

“I know,” Afton sighed.

“Then why did you tell me to go for it?” She asked accusingly.

“Because it’s you and Bobby,” Afton said softly. “Surely he must love you.”

“He does,” Pam sighed before adding in an upset voice. “But he also loves his wife apparently and he’s not sure he’ll actually get around to divorcing her for me!”

“I’m sorry,” Afton said compassionately. “I really hope it all works out for you.”

“Thanks so do I,” Pam sighed. “Because I can’t stay in Dallas if it doesn’t.”

“Oh Pam no,” Afton made a face. “I don’t want you to leave and what about Christopher? He’ll be so disappointed.”

“I know and I really hope it won’t come to that, but I love Bobby too much to be around him if we are not together. It’s just too painful. So unless he’ll get a divorce I will be moving back to Abu Dhabi!” Pam said with determination in her voice, as her mind was all made up. Afton bit her lip when she heard that as she wondered if she’d made a big mistake when she’d told Pam to go after Bobby. Because if Pam left Dallas it would break Christopher’s heart and Afton really didn’t want to see her nephew by marriage get hurt like that. Not to mention what it would do to Pam. Surely it would be very difficult for her to go back to her old life in Abu Dhabi now when she knew about her family in Dallas. So it was really a lose-lose situation for everyone involved.

Thanks for the feedback and ratings everyone. :)

Thank you @CeeCee72 you are right, it is a bad situation that will hurt a lot of people. So it would be better if Bobby and Pam could sort things out. But well it's all a part of the drama.

Here's tonight's update.

*

Ann had come home to an empty house, as nobody was at Southfork when she arrived. So she’d gone upstairs, unpacked her things and laid down to take a nap. She knew it would have been better if she could have stayed awake until the evening, but since she was horribly jetlagged she just couldn’t keep her eyes open. So she’d laid down for a moment just to rest and hadn’t woken up until two hours later when Bobby had arrived home. She’d opened her eyes and looked disoriented at her husband, “Bobby?”

“Oh hi Annie,” Bobby forced his best smile. “I didn’t realize that you were back.”

“I got back this afternoon,” Ann said, as she got up from the bed and walked up to him, giving him a kiss.

But he was not responsive to her at all. Instead he pulled away from her saying in a chilly tone of voice, “So how was Switzerland?”

“Really nice,” Ann said happily. “Emma’s finally met a boy that she’s really serious about. They’re engaged to be married!”

“That’s a surprise,” Bobby said since he had not expected that. “I bet you must be happy about that.”

“I really am,” Ann smiled.

“So how did Harris react to the news?” Bobby asked before adding in an accusing tone of voice. “Because you went to Switzerland with him, didn’t you?”

Ann flinched from the accusation before she sighed heavily, “Yeah and I hear you’ve been talking to Ray.”

“You saw Ray?” Bobby looked surprised at Ann.

“Yeah it’s his son that Emma’s gotten engaged to,” Ann revealed and Bobby dropped his chin in surprise when he heard that. Because he was well aware of that Ray’s son was actually his son. But Ann didn’t know that since he’d never told her about his past with Jenna.

“You mean Lucas?”

“Yeah,” Ann nodded and Bobby felt like someone had just stabbed him in the heart. He rarely thought of his son but now when he heard that he was engaged to be married he couldn’t help but feeling a sense of loss for the child he’d never seen grow up. It also made him feel angry and worried.

“Are you sure that Harris will allow that?” Bobby asked.

“Yeah he’s had the boy checked out and he approves,” Ann said.

“Good, because I would hate for Lucas to get hurt,” Bobby said. “Not that I trust Harris Ryland after what he did to my wife.”

Ann sighed when she heard that, “I’m sorry Bobby. I know things looks bad, I mean me going away with my ex and all but I swear to you that nothing happened between us.”

“I wasn’t talking about you,” Bobby said harshly. “I was referring to what Harris did to Pam.”

“Pam, Pam, Pam, when are you going to stop obsessing over that woman?” Ann asked in an annoyed tone of voice. “She’s not your wife anymore and she hasn’t been your wife for over twenty years!”

“Says the woman who’s having an affair with her ex,” Bobby said accusingly.

“I’m not having an affair,” Ann denied it. “Harris kissed me but that’s all!”

“I don’t believe you,” Bobby said before he raised his voice at her. “I think the only reason you’re accusing me of being hung up on my ex is because you are hung up on yours.”

Ann could feel her cheeks blush, as there was some truth to it. She did have feelings for Harris. But she wasn’t ready to admit it. “Oh please, like there’s nothing going on between you and Pam.”

“Well we haven’t done anything that you and Harris haven’t.”

“What’s that supposed to mean?” Ann asked in an alarmed tone of voice. “You’ve kissed Pam?”

“It was more than kissing!”

“What?” Ann’s face paled. “Here you are accusing me of having an affair when it’s you who’s strayed.”

“I’m sorry Annie. I didn’t plan to,” Bobby sighed heavily before he finally came clean to her, “But I went over to her house last night and one thing lead to another and then before I knew it I woke up in her bed this morning.”

“You’ve slept with her?” Ann yelled in an upset tone of voice, as she looked at Bobby in disbelief.

“Well you slept with Harris didn’t you?” He asked in a small voice, suddenly feeling ashamed of himself for jumping to conclusions.

“No,” Ann shook her head, as the tears started to well up in her eyes. “I didn’t sleep with Harris. Because I thought our marriage meant something. But now I’m starting to think that maybe I should have, since our marital vows obviously doesn’t mean that much to you!”

“I’m sorry Ann," Bobby apologized as he felt really bad about sleeping with Pam now. He then went on trying to explain it to her. "It’s just that I was married to Pam first and we never got a chance to say goodbye.”

“So that’s what it was?” Ann asked, as she was trying so hard to understand it. But it was difficult to do now when her whole world was falling apart, “A goodbye?”

“Honestly I don’t know what it was,” Bobby sighed. “All I know is that she still loves me just like Harris loves you.”

“So where does this leave us?” Ann asked.

“I don’t know,” Bobby said.

“Well I need a little bit more than that,” Ann said before she started walking towards the door.

“Where are you going?”

“Out,” Ann said in an upset tone of voice. “I need to clear my mind and right now I can’t stand looking at you.”

“So when will you be back?”

“Not tonight, so don’t wait up for me,” Ann said angrily.

“You’re going to see him, aren’t you?” He asked in a jealous voice.

“Oh don’t worry I won’t be doing anything that you haven’t already been doing,” Ann said in a hurt voice before she stormed out of their room with tears running down her cheeks. Looking after her Bobby got a sinking feeling inside that he’d just ruined his marriage and he didn’t even know why he’d sabotaged it like that. All he knew was that he’d never meant to hurt Pam or Ann but somehow he had managed to hurt them both.

Great updates Karin!:) I love your story so much. :)I hope Bobby makes a decision about his marriage to Ann soon and in my opinion he should divorce her and reunite with Pam since he needs to be able to work things out soon with Pam because I don’t want her to leave Dallas again and break their sons heart all over again since they have recently reconciled. :):(

@Mrs Bobby James Ewing I am glad that you love my story.
Also you are right that it would hurt Christopher if Pam were to leave Dallas again. :(

@Pammy P thank you. I take it as a compliment that you think this should have been the TNT version on TV. :dance1:

Okay so in tonight's update you'll find out where Ann went after she stormed out of Southfork and who she went to see...;)

*

Sue Ellen had been sitting in the sofa reading a book when someone rang on her door. She looked up from her book, somewhat surprised as she wasn’t expecting any visitors. The whole situation reminded her of a few years ago when JR had just dropped by unannounced. But JR was gone now. So it couldn’t be him. Sue Ellen walked up to the door and was happy to see that it was a friend. “Ann!” Sue Ellen smiled, before she gave her friend a hug. “Oh it’s good to see you. How’s Emma?”

“Oh Sue Ellen,” Ann began to sob towards Sue Ellen’s shoulder, not letting go of her.

Sue Ellen was surprised by that but sensing that her friend was upset about something and needed a shoulder to cry on she gently rubbed her back, “It’s gonna be alright,” Sue Ellen said soothingly. “If you just get Emma into rehab I’m sure she can kick the addiction again...”

Her assumption that her daughter was using again made Ann pull back, “No Emma’s not using,” Ann shook her head. “She’s fine!”

“Then I don’t understand,” Sue Ellen looked questioningly at Ann, as she let the woman into her house and closed the door behind her.

“It’s my marriage that’s over!” Ann lamented, as they began walking over towards the living room, “If I’d known this would happen I never would have gone to Switzerland with Harris!”

“Harris?” Sue Ellen’s eyes widened. “Oh no Ann, what have you done?”

“Nothing,” Ann sobbed. “Harris just kissed me. But Bobby slept with Pam while I was in Europe!”

Sue Ellen looked at her friend in disbelief, “Bobby cheated on you?”

“Yes,” Ann nodded.

“Are you absolutely sure of that?” Sue Ellen asked. “I mean it’s not like Bobby to cheat.”

“Well he did!” Ann cried. “He even told me himself that he’d spent the night with Pam.”

“I’m sorry Ann. I never could have guessed that Bobby would cheat on you. I mean he’s not like JR.”

“No JR cheated on you for business,” Ann said. “Bobby cheated on me because he’s still in love with his ex-wife.”

“He’s told you that?”

“He doesn’t have to,” Ann sighed. “I can tell from the way he’s been obsessing about her. He’s been like a dog with a bone.”

“Well maybe that’s all there is to it,” Sue Ellen tried to rationalize it away. “I mean Bobby never got a chance to say goodbye to Pam so maybe he needed to be with her one last time to get some closure?”

“Maybe but I still think my marriage is over!”

“Not necessarily,” Sue Ellen said. “Or did he ask you for a divorce?”

“No,” Ann shook her head.

“Well then it’s not over unless you want it to be,” Sue Ellen said.

“I don’t want it to be over,” Ann said.

“Good then you’d better fight for your man,” Sue Ellen said. “I know better than most people how much it hurts to be cheated on. But if you really love him you can find your way back to each other even after that. I know JR and I did and so can you and Bobby if you’re just willing to forgive him and work on your marriage.”

“Thanks Sue Ellen,” Ann smiled. “I needed to hear that. Still I’m not ready to face Bobby tonight so can I stay in your guest room for a few days?”

“Sure you can stay as long as you’d like,” Sue Ellen smiled, as she was not exactly sad at the prospect of having a houseguest for a few days. After all it was a big house to live in by herself and she could get lonely. So she knew that having Ann there for a few days would do her some good. But she also knew that having Ann stay with her wouldn’t be good for Bobby and Ann’s marriage so it was really just a temporary solution. Because sooner or later Ann needed to face Bobby again if she really was serious about salvaging her marriage.

To Be Continued...

Thank you so much everyone for your feedback and ratings. I so enjoy reading your comments. :)

@Laurie! Unfortunately you are right. Bobby is still acting like a jerk! :(

@CeeCee72 right he has managed to hurt both women. It's definitely not cool. So he needs to figure out what he wants to do and not drag out this "love triangle" any longer since it's hurting everyone involved. Actually the situation is hurting Bobby too as he's torn between the two women and what he considers is right and wrong. But yeah I liked Ann and Sue Ellen's friendship.

@Ms Southworth Thank you for your detailed feedback too. I'm glad that you like my new story. :)
Too bad you no longer post here. I miss you around the board! :dance1:

Now on to the next update.

Chapter eighteen

Bobby had called in sick the next day as he didn’t feel like going to work. Still knowing what was really going on in Bobby and Ann’s marriage Sue Ellen knew the real reason why he hadn’t come into the office. So she decided to drop by Southfork for a little visit. She found Bobby sitting in the living room, drowning his sorrows with some JR bourbon while looking at some old photo albums. “The Oil Baron’s Ball in 1986,” Sue Ellen reflected, as she looked over his shoulder.

“Sue Ellen!” Bobby exclaimed, as he looked up.”You scared me, I didn’t hear you walk in.”

“Well I still got a key to your house, so I used it,” Sue Ellen smiled. “I’ve brought some papers for you to sign.”

“Couldn’t it wait until tomorrow?” Bobby asked, as he glanced at Pam’s face in the photo album. “My mind’s not on business.”

“I know,” Sue Ellen said. “But no this really can’t wait.”

Bobby sighed, as he closed the photo album and gave Sue Ellen his full attention, “Alright, what is it?”

“Well the papers can wait,” Sue Ellen clarified, “But what I’ve got to say can’t.”

Bobby gave her a questioning look, “You’re not making a lot of sense.”

“Well maybe this will enlighten you, Ann is staying at my house and I know everything.”

“Oh,” Bobby grimaced, as he felt a bit embarrassed that Ann had brought Sue Ellen into the middle of their domestic dispute. But then he realized that this at least brought something good with it, “So she didn’t go see Ryland.”

“No Ann and Harris are through and you and Pam should be too,” Sue Ellen pointed out.

“How can you say that?” Bobby stood up to confront her. “I mean if you had one more chance with JR wouldn’t you take it?”

Sue Ellen froze when she heard her former husband's name. “That’s low, JR is dead and yes I miss him,” Sue Ellen bottom lip quivered before she pulled herself together, “But it’s not the same thing.”

“No because Pam’s not dead,” Bobby said. “We just thought she was.”

“Still she abandoned you,” Sue Ellen reminded him. “So she doesn’t deserve a second chance.”

Bobby crossed his arms before saying defensively, “She was kidnapped and then she had amnesia!”

“Oh please!” Sue Ellen snorted. “Only an imbecile would ever believe that. She married another man and raised JR’s daughter with him. Then when her brother died she came back looking for vengeance.”

“No she returned because Dallas is her home,” Bobby camet to Pam's defense.

“Not really,” Sue Ellen shook her head. “I mean she’s lived as long abroad as she’s lived here!”

“You’ve lived abroad too,” Bobby reminded her. “You still came home.”

“Yes but I only lived in England for a few years,” Sue Ellen said. “Besides Pam sued us for 33 % of Ewing Global!”

“But she dropped the lawsuit,” Bobby raised his voice.

“Yeah with the condition that we’d give Josephine some shares in the company,” Sue Ellen argued. “Please Bobby why can’t you open your eyes and see that she’s been playing you the whole time?" Sue Ellen asked. "She’s not here because she wants her family back. She’s here to ruin our lives the way we ruined Cliff’s life.”

“That’s a lie!” Bobby yelled.

“No it’s the truth and if you weren’t so blinded by her you’d see for yourself just how she’s manipulated you. She didn’t come back here for your love or to make things right with you and Christopher. She came because she wanted to hurt this family and I’d hate to see you throw away your marriage over someone like her.”

“I think you should leave now,” Bobby said harshly, as he pointed at the door.

“Not until you’ve understood what’s at stake here,” Sue Ellen said grabbing hold of Bobby’s arm.

“I understand perfectly well,” Bobby said, breaking free from her. “Now please leave.”

“Alright I’ll go,” Sue Ellen sighed heavily. “But don’t say that I didn’t warn you. I’m just concerned about your marriage that’s all.”

“Thanks but I don’t need your concern,” Bobby said. “Now why don’ t you leave the papers you wanted me to sign on my desk and I’ll bring them into the office tomorrow.”

“Okay, I’ll see you tomorrow then,” Sue Ellen said, as she reluctantly started to leave the room. Then she remembered something and turned around at the door. “So what should I tell Ann?”

“Tell her...” Bobby grimaced, as he hesitated for a moment. “That I’m glad that she’s staying with you and not Ryland.”

Sue Ellen raised an eyebrow, “That’s all?”

“Yeah and that I’ll be here when she’s ready to see me,” Bobby said.

“I guess that’s something,” Sue Ellen said before she walked out the door. On her way out she met Christopher, who was on his way to see Bobby.

“Hi Sue Ellen!” He greeted her with a smile but since she was upset she didn’t even say hello to him, which earned her a strange look from her nephew. Before he turned to his father instead with a questioning look on his face, “Hey dad, what was that all about?” Christopher asked. “Sue Ellen didn’t even say hello to me.”

“Don’t take it personal son,” Bobby said. “She’s just upset with me because Ann’s moved out.”

“Ann’s back from Switzerland?”

“Yeah she came back yesterday,” Bobby informed his son.

“Then how come she hasn’t stopped by to see the baby?” Christopher asked.

“I’m sorry Christopher but Ann’s too upset with me to care about anyone else,” Bobby apologized for his wife.

“What did you do?” Christopher’s eyes narrowed. “Does this has anything to do with mom?”

Bobby grimaced, “What makes you think that?”

“Well you went to see her the other day after we saw Judith, didn’t you?”

“Yes how did you know?” Bobby asked. “Did Pam say anything to you about...”

“No,” Christopher shook his head. “But it was pretty obvious that you hadn’t spent the night at home when you came to that board meeting in the same clothes as the day before.”

Bobby looked embarrassed, before he scolded himself, “I so should have called in sick to that meeting.”

Christopher looked amused, “Then why didn’t you?”

“I don’t know,” Bobby sighed. “I guess I panicked and I was looking for a way out.”

Christopher looked disappointed, “So you don’t want to be with mom?”

“It’s not about what I want, it’s about what’s right and I am married to Ann,” Bobby’s jaw clenched.

“Well I was married to Rebecca when Elena and I got back together and I’ve never regretted it,” Christopher pointed out.

“It’s not the same thing,” Bobby said. “Ann and I have a good marriage. What you and Rebecca had was a charade orchestrated by her father.”

“True,” Christopher nodded. “But the fact remains that Elena and I never would have broken up in the first place if it hadn’t been for that e-mail just like you and mom never would have gotten a divorce if it hadn’t been for Katherine’s meddling.”

“So what are you saying?”

Christopher smiled, since his father was actually asking him for advice for a change. Then he told his dad what he would have told him if the roles would have been reversed, “That you should be with the one you love.”

“And if I love them both?”

“Well you can’t have them both so then you need to make a choice and stick with it,” Christopher reasoned. “But for what it’s worth I think you and mom deserves a chance to be happy after everything that you’ve been through.”

“Thanks son, so do I,” Bobby said before he gave Christopher a hug. After his confrontation with Sue Ellen it was nice to talk to someone who also loved Pam and who understood where he was coming from. Also it was good to know that he and Pam had Christopher’s blessing if they decided to get back together. Now he just hoped that this didn’t mean that he had his son’s rage if he decided to stay in his marriage.

Awesome update! Surprised to see Sue Ellen go after Pam that way, but after all, Ann is her friend and Ann is Bobby's wife. Plus, well she does have a point about Pam choosing to stay away from Bobby and Christopher.

Really loving this!
