Ouch! That's too bad that you can't participate this round. 
Surely I thought everyone must have watched at least one Elvis movie. For me it was one of the first type of classical movies I ever watched and by now I must have watched at least 24 out of 31 of his movies! :cooler:
Okay so he's more famous as a singer but he sings in his movies too. Just the other night I saw the movie "Live a Little, Love a Little" and what did I find in that movie - the song "A Little Less Conversation"!
Most of his movies are musical comedies that are so easy to watch. The plots might be pretty much the same over and over again but it's fun nevertheless and Elvis was really charismatic and handsome. He was talented too so I think he had what it took to make a great movie star. Just too bad his scripts weren't better.

Many years ago tried to watch his films as I'm a big fan of his music however I managed only about 30 mins of Blue Hawaii and Jailhouse Rock and didn't like either of them enough to watch any further. I got through about half of Viva Las Vegas which wasn't awful and one day I might get around to watching it again, this time all of it. I'd be interested to see what wins this vote as it might encourage me to watch it.

Somehow I've never got round to watching an Elvis film. They're on my viewing bucket list, though. I have seen Elvis DVD box sets in HMV before now and they look quite appealing as little slices of Sixties Americana.
Many of the Elvis songs I like come from his films, so it would be nice to view them at some point and see the songs in context.

My aunt would have been able to make a top 10, easily. She is a huge Elvis fan. It's her one true idol in life.

My parents like Elvis and have some of his old LP's. So well when I began watching Dallas with them my dad would make a point of telling me that Priscilla used to be married to Elvis to peak my curiosity in him. Also when Priscilla would host an Elvis show on TV my dad would convince me to watch it. So I watched for Priscilla and well eventually when I was 14 I read the book she had written about her life with Elvis and then I was hooked. I began listening to his music and watch his movies. I love all of the Presley's now, Elvis, Cilla and Lisa-Marie but I must say that Priscilla is still my favorite.
I am yet to watch "Change of Habit" so I'm glad to see that it made your list.

Ok Karin, actually I´ve only watched "Jailhouse Rock" when I was a teenager. I don´t have anything against Presley at all, actually whenever I take time to listen new songs by him I find that I like him more and more...Back in the 50's / 60's, most of his competition were as bland as they could be, and Elvis proved he had quite a character when he performed.
So here´s my vote...
1- Jailhouse Rock.
Also take into account that Presley was not "popular" in Spain at the time, and probably that "guy who ruled us" thought he was too subversive to allow his movies to be shown. But most of them were aired later on TV.

I only have vague memories of watching a couple of his films as a child. I remember he was in Hawaii for one and had a ginger doppleganger in another. So, unfortunately I can't do a top 10 for Elvis movies.

Once he's released from prison he embarks on a career in the entertainment industry. It's an American Musical Drama movie directed by Richard Thorpe. It also stars Judy Tyler and Mickey Shaughnessy. This movie also had the world's first music video in it.

Okay so maybe it's not exactly a genre, as that would be any animated movie. But this time I figured you'd get to list your favorite ten animated movies produced by the company started by this man:
Walter Elias Disney was an American producer, director, animator and voice actor. Walt Disney is known for his animated films. He was born on 5th December, 1901 in Chicago, Illinois. He is of German-Irish-Canadian descent. He grew up together with three brothers and one sister. He started to draw animals when he was a child. But his career didn’t start until after he came back from the First World War where he worked as an ambulance driver. He settled in Kansas where he began working on animated commercials. Then he moved to California where he stayed with his uncle who encouraged him to build his own studio to produce animated movies in his garage. They formed the company that’s ever since 1925 has been known as the Walt Disneys Studios. Their first success was Mickey Mouse, which Disney also did voice acting for. He also produced the first animated feature film in the USA, which was Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (1938). In 1955 he opened up his first theme park Disneyland in California.
Walt Disney died from lung cancer on 15th December, 1966. He was 65 years old. But his legacy lives on as a new Disney movie is produced annually and released just in time for Christmas. Many of these movies are incredibly successful and Walt Disney was awarded 22 Oscars for his movies in his lifetime. But which Disney movie is your favorite?

1. Sleeping Beauty
A cracker of a music score, thanks to Tchaikovsky. The best villainess in Maleficent. The good fairies are a rare example of Disney comic relief being endearing rather than annoying. The highly stylised look of the film is gorgeous too.
2. Beauty And The Beast
Quite possibly the most gorgeous-looking animated film of all time. Belle is a terrific heroine - the perfect balance of spunky and schmaltzy. The songs also have great balance - from the comical Gaston to the beautiful title track. David Ogden Stiers' opening narration over the images of the stained glass window is to die for.
3. The Lion King
A feast for the eyes. Memorable songs. A Shakespearean villain. This one has it all.
4. Bambi
Stunningly realistic backdrops and animal movement. The most chilling villain: man. And the most horrific moment of any Disney film ("Faster, Bambi. Don't look back...").
5. One Hundred And One Dalmations
Aesthetically very pleasing and with a memorable villain.
6. Snow White And The Seven Dwarfs
The original. Enough said.
7. Frozen
It pains me to admit it, but I like it - in spite of the hype.
8. The Little Mermaid
One of Disney's funnest witches. Poor Unfortunate Souls is one of the best Disney songs.
9. Brother Bear
On paper this is stupid. But I was completely charmed.
10. Fantasia
The best score of any Disney combined with some beautiful art.
Ten just isn't enough. So many great films had to be sacrificed. The Hunchback Of Notre Dame was almost in there just for the amazing Hellfire song. Ah well. Maybe we'll do a Disney song Top Ten soon.
