There should be an age limit and I find it incredible in a country the size of USA, thats the best 2, :omg:

i know money talks but seriously.........................Bidens recent behaviours are very worrying and remind me of Cog impaired patients and i work in a hospital, he presents just like them. Very worrying for the world

UK votes soon, I think i will be spoiling my ballot paper

I feel like every election there are rumors about how the incumbent is going to be replaced at the last minute by a 'better' candidate and it never happens. At this point, I think Biden could be a literal corpse and they'd just lug him around WEEKEND AT BERNIE'S-style.
I agree with that, especially in a two party system where it's almost always guaranteed to be a somewhat of a 50/50 split with a slight margin to the winning side. I don't really see them pulling a fast one, even if it's becoming a tad worrying they'll just do the next four years with Biden hidden away mostly with Harris doing more official duties. I'm pretty sure both parties could just replace the candidate with Moppy and Broomie and we'd still get a somewhat even split.

Slight note though. Hillary Clinton did have a reason to appear at the Tony Awards this year, given that she was a chief financial backer and producer of one of the shows up for Best Musical. The show lost the prize to The Outsiders, so Hillary did not get a Tony.

getting to the subject at hand, if Biden does get replaced, I think it will be by Michelle Obama. She keeps saying she's not interested in running, but if push comes to shove....

Poor Hillary. Always the bridesmaid...

I'm sure the neoliberal managerial class would turn out for her in droves because she checks off all their boxes. Affluent, woman of color, great at speaking in platitudes, etc.

Like her husband, she's the perfect empty vessel to do the establishment's bidding. Even if she doesn't replace Biden, I wouldn't be surprised if she runs for president some day.

"Everybody" has an instinct that what we're looking at now -- more than four months out from Election Day -- is not going to be what happens come November.

Something unforeseen is going to occur before then.

Well, I for one hope you're right, but I have the sinking feeling I am going to get a ballot with Trump and Biden and then be forced to take a bath in bleach with a brillo pad after I vote.

For what it's worth, you'll probably want to do that even if Biden's replaced. The policies will stay the same, even if senile Biden is traded for a newer, functioning model.

This would be my guess as well. If, hypothetically, he did get replaced and I still think that’s a big if, my money would be on Michelle. In terms of her popularity alone she’d be very tough to beat in my opinion.

Somebody who'd had a near death experience said she saw the future, and that Trump would be elected -- to no one's surprise -- in 2028 and place the American financial system back onto paper money. (Which, if true, suggests he might not be elected in 2024.)

Professor Allan Lichtman, sage of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue suiters, hints that Biden will likely get back in in 2024. (Lichtman has been right about every presidential election of the last 10, except for 2000 -- because he didn't realize it was going to be stolen).

Though he has not yet made a final prediction, Dr. Lichtman suggests that "a lot would have to go wrong for Biden to lose to Trump." However, Biden has already lost two "Keys" due to midterm election results and a lack of exceptional charisma.

According to Dr. Lichtman, losing more than six "Keys" would likely result in Biden being voted out of office. However, he also warns that replacing Biden with another Democrat could cost the party additional "Keys."

Explaining his methodology, Dr. Lichtman noted that a "true" answer to any of the "Keys" questions indicates the incumbent party retains power, while a "false" answer signals a potential shift in power, described as an "Earthquake." The 13 "Keys" include factors such as party mandate, incumbency, economy, social unrest, scandal, foreign/military successes and failures, and the charisma of the candidates.

And she had her NDE in 2005 -- ten years before Trump was ever running for president!

I have always respected Lichtman and his predictions, but this year is different in one very important sense - both of these guys are running as incumbents.

I know it has happened before in American history, but this is the first time in recent history (the age of cable news and the Internet) that we have had two presidents running against each other for the office. Not sure the "party in power" thing is as important this time.

After last night's debate, which has the left leaning media in a complete panic, you are correct.
Which is bogus, because Biden's been that bad for a couple of years now -- frankly, I was surprised he wasn't even worse last night.
They're hacks. They had to cover for him until he secured the nomination. Now all of his supporters in corporate media are wasting no time picking his bones clean.

If they wanted to demonstrate to the entire country that Biden's unfit for office well before the convention, scheduling the debate this early was the perfect way to do it.
