They were supposed to be in competition in "The Colbys" for Zach's heart, according to the bible of season 2. Hence the "seductive" scene between Dominique and Zach at the Excelzior in the 3rd episode of the season.
Dominique was supposed to be back around the time Fallon was at the hospital and Zach was to make a play for her since Sable was hesitant to marry him., Unfortunately the plot was canceled, maybe because Dominique was around Dex in the meantime in "Dynasty" (an "affair" that went nowhere so the writers should have kept the original plot with Zach).

Uuuuggghhh, Dominique NEEDED to be on THE COLBYS, that was a better place for her. DYNASTY may have been a good entrance for her, but it no longer needed her. The spinoff provided MUCH better material for her.
I still remember how, when I first got into DYNASTY by finding clips of the catfight scenes on YouTube, after I found the catfights Alexis had with Dominique and Sable, I tried searching for a catfight between the latter two... only to find, to my extreme disappointment, that there was nothing to be found.

But I've been seeing a lot if A.I. videos lately of people on African safari who have savanna animals (lions, tigers, etc) bringing their babies to the good white folks in a vehicle to hold --- which is going to create a problem when tourists, foolishly believing those videos to be legitimate, make the same mistake ... and they're promptly mauled and eaten.
So funny.

I keep watching these A.I. shorts on Youtube of these morbidly obese (~900 pounds) people sliding down waterslides and attempting to navigate diving boards, and everything collapses beneath them, sending them hurdling into the water, created a tsunami surge which wipes out the onlookers.
I can't stop laughing.
