Next the cliffhanger . . .

Dallas starring:

John Ross Ewing
Pamela Ewing
Christopher Ewing
Emily Ewing
and
Lucy Ewing
with
Andrew Wendell
David Wendell
Sofia Wendell
and
Beau Ewing

Question: as there's talk about diversity, I didn't mention it but I picture the Wendell's as being ethnically diverse as mixed being Jeremy's wife was unknown. Sofia is their mother. Any thoughts on this?

A long black limousine pulls up behind South Fork. The Ewings step out back to see a elderly woman step out. Pamela says, "Who is it?"

Emily answers with hesitation. "That's my grandmother."

The woman walks up to great the family and inquire about her great grandson, Jeremy.

Sitting in the living room she laughs, "You know I absolulty hated your grandfather. Why in the world you'd name a child after him is beyond me. Your father's hero worship of the man was completely misplaced."

Pamela says the name's not bad though. My husband and I argued over Willard, just as much as we argued over Clayton."

"And what did you decide?"

"His grandpa's full name was Steven Clayton after his dad, so I could live with Steven. And, Mitchell Arlo after my mother's father and my Uncle Mitch."

"Can't you people come up with your own names?"

Lucy says, "We're Ewings. It's not what we do."

"I see. Well if your next child is a girl I expect you to name her after me."

Chris scoffs. "She'll be named Eleanor after my grandmother."

"I see."

"So Sofia, how long do you plan on staying in Dallas?" John Ross asks.

"I'm staying with my boys. I don't really know. We're starting up a business together, Wendell Oil."

Lucy asks, "Why Wendell. I know after my all marriages I returned to Ewing but why would you return to Wendell?"

"My boy's name. My boys mean everything to me."

David and Andrew walk into the empty offices of Wendell Oil. David shows Andrew the office that will be his. "And what will I do all day?" Andrew asks. "I'm not really interested in a nine to five job."

"You don't have to come in at all if you don't want to. But you own thirty percent of the company. I thought you should have an office."

"Mom owns forty percent, does she get an office too?"

"No. She's more a silent partner."

"I've never known our mother to be silent. So what's the first plan of attack."

"Get Wendell Oil up and running. We need a front man and some office staff. Then we go after the Ewings with everything we've got."

"And this doesn't conflict with your position on the OLM?"

"Wendell Oil will be operating outside of Texas."

"I see."

Picking up a copy of Forbes magazine from the desk he says, "Just look at that. 'One of the richest family's in America and with the special vote of their class A shares they control the New CalcoHarwood.' Its bullshit. There's an article in there about the diversification Amanda Harwood's fortune, 'Going on a Buying Spree.' That's our money Andrew. Says they're worth over a hundred and thirty-six billion dollars."

John Ross rides up in an elevator with Mateo who says, "Sofia Patino. Born in Bolivia. She was Jeremy Wendell's second wife. She came into a great deal of money on her own and it sees Jeremy used an awful lot of it to get his start." Getting off the elevator the two walk into the offices of Ewing Oil, greeting the secretaries before moving on to John Ross's office. "Her fortune is extremly hard to guess. By the coupe in fifty-two her family managed to get much of their wealth out of the county but where, is too complicated to do more then just begin to figure out. She's still a citizen of Bolivia, but lives mostly in Paris and the South of France."

"Mr. Ewing. Beau Ewing is here to see you," an imterption on the intercom comes in.

John Ross looks intrigued. He replies, "Show him in."

Mateo and John Ross are curious about the visit.

One of the secretaries shows him into the office, inquiring if he wants anything and then leaving them alone.

John Ross introduces Mateo and then asks, "So you're going by Ewing now?"

"Thought I'd try it on for size."

"So what brings you to Dallas."

"Just a visit. Nice office dad left you."

"Our father didn't leave me any if this. I had to put it together. I'll admit with the help of some money Grandpa left to me and how our father was able to use it to invest in West Star. But I had to pull all of this together myself. Mateo tells me you've had a few stumbles yourself."

"You know about that."

"I keep an eye on my family. I assume you've come looking for help."

"No. Not really. Advice."

"Go on."

"Well I've got a bit of a mess and I thought you could help me figure it out."

"I can do that. I've got some people who can gove over things and get me a summary so we know where to begin. I'll put you in touch with them first. Then we'll meet once they've got back with me. In the mean time you can stay at South Fork."

"Thank you John Ross. I really appreciate it."

"Of course. We're family."

The Ewings gather out back by the pool. When Pamela asks John Ross about Beau, he tells her he has to look after him because he's his brother. When Emily mentions Beau, Chris complains about another Ewing bastard being welcome at South Fork.

Lucy takes the handsome boy's arm and they walk out toward the barns. She says to him, "You should stay. There's no reason to be in a hurry. John Ross will help you out, or I'll loan you what ever you need."

"How did you learn to manage your money?"

"I didn't. I've been married a few times. Divorced, widowed once. Like you I never actually earned a dime. And I don't know anything about managing money, anymore than John Ross or Chris does. But we have people we trust. That's important. Did you go to school?"

"You mean college?"

"No."

"What do you plan on doing with your life?"

"I don't know. You mean like John Ross running a company?"

"Or Chris is an engineer or I run the foundation."

"What's that?"

"Giving away money to help people. I collect art. And socialize a lot." Lucy laughs.

"I don't see myself doing any of that."

"Well, we'll figure it out."

David and Sofia greet Dmitry Sechin in Andrew's office. The three of them sit down and David thanks him for doing business with his family.

Dmitry says, "Now what I need in return is access to your fracking technology, and in order to do that I have to get around your government's sanctions."

"Anything can be accomplished by working together. What you need is the hardware of Wentworth Tool and Die for drilling in the artic and from Trident Oil fracking chemicals they bought from CalcoHarwood before the split up. Both are now owned by Lonestar Investment."

"So we go through the Ewings."

"They're not going to cooperate."

Sophia smiles, "So, we share something in common, the Ewings stand between us and what we want. The technology you need and us getting on hands back on control of CalcoHarwood."

Dia Long sits up in bed with John Ross's secretary and says, "'Just so you know how appreciative I am for all your help."

"Just as long as it doesn't get back that told on him. His wife finds out he's got an illegimate child out there he's taking care of all hell will break loose, not just at home but the company's the own."

"Don't worry. Why would he let his lovely wife found out when all he has to do is give me what I want. It wasn't so hard for you I noticed."

"Oh god no," She says rubbing his body.

Chris lays in bed with his mistress on top creasing his chest. She says, "I've done everything you've ever asked. And you're more tired to that bitch than ever."

"You know my circumstances. I can't just leave my son to her. And it be one thing to just fight her, but my own family would have her back."

"They should just mind their own business."

"Well they're not going to. And since Lonestar owns half of Bodhi once I reconstructed everything, I'll be luck not to loose control of it."

"How?"

"I devorice Emily she gets half of Bodhi. She sells her half to Lonestar. They've got three quarters. You see?"

"I guess."

"Don't worry. I told you it'd work out. Just give me time. Don't think I haven't appreciated everything you've done for me." He rubs her butt. "Speaking of which, when you gonna get that friend of yours to join us again."

"Oh Christopher. Please don't."

"Honey you know I don't like to be told no."

Matta meets Dia in her office as President of CalcoHarwood. "No I wasn't aware of the agricultural chemical division that John Ross and Christopher sold to DreyAgra."

"I'm missing the fracking chemicals as well. Both of them were sold to companies that Lonestar controls."

"I wouldn't have even guessed John Ross knew about them."

"Why would Cristopher act alone to his cousin's benefit."

"I'm not shock about Chris knowing about the fraking chemicals but the agricultural chemical?"

"I don't care about why. I care about getting them back. At least what DreyAgra's sitting on. That's what I was after in the first place."

"Certainly. You've got an awful lot of mouths to feed."

John takes Beau for a tour of CalcoHarwood's offices telling him they have fifteen refineries and franchise thousands of gas stations around the world.

Matta approaches the saying, "I heard you were in the building."

"Matta. This is my brother Beau. Beau Matta Macleod is the president of CalcoHarwood."

"Oh so you're the boss."

"Something like that."

In a hotel room Matta rides on top of Beau with his hands stretched up to kneed her breasts, her body arched backwards."

Beau and Lucy climb the stairs at South Fork late one evening. She says, "I was thinking politics."

"What about it?"

"We were talking about something you could do with your life. You served in the Marines. Distinguished in combat."

"I don't how much that means to running for office."

"You received the Medal of Honor."

"That doesn't make me capable of running the government."

"I'm not talking about running it. I'm talking about have a vote. And for that to need to be a decent man who cares about doing the right thing. Your medal proves that. The rest yo get from your advisors. Just think about it."

At her door she tells him good night.

Outside from his window you can see Beau get undressed. Alone and depressed Emily looks up to watch him.

Chris sits across a desk from a doctor and says, "All right. Let's here it."

"Are you sure you want to know?"

"I have the right to know."

"He's not your son."

"Are you certain?"

"Positive. It's just not possible."

Sophia and Emily lave lunch together in Dallas. Sophia says to her granddaughter, "you have to decide. Either you're a Wendell or a Ewing."

"That's not fair."

"I'm sorry. I know your mother and father didn't have the best of marriages and it's hard to forgive him, but the Ewings have attacked your father. Your husband and his cousin have nearly bankrupted him. You can't be OK with that."

"Uncle Andrew doesn't blame the Ewings. Grandpa stole those shares in CalcoHarwood from Amanda's mother."

"I'm not going to defend the man. Your grandfather was a horrid person. I could tell you stories. But CalcoHarwood became your father's life. The Ewings didn't only take almost all of his shares from him, they broke the company up. I'm sure they even murdered Effrin Ames, that guy they brought in."

"Why would they kill the guy they brought in?"

"Destabilize the company. Take it away from your father."

"I'm sorry, but I'm not leaving South Fork. You can call me a Ewing all you want. I'm not about to walk away from them. They're my family."

"And that horrid husband of yours. He's that important to you?"

"No. But his family is."

"You're a Wendell and a Patiño. You have noble blood and you choose a life in this little cottage with these, these deplorables."

"They're my family, grandmother."

"So be it." Sofia walks out on her.

John Ross and Beau play horseshoes out back while Pamela and Emily sit by the pool playing cards. Lucy walks out of the house and asked about Christopher. Emily says, "He's at the lab, like always."

"I think I'll take a ride over there."

Sofia meets with Dmitry and Dia onboard a mega yacht in the Gulf. She says, "I tried to talk her into leaving the Ewings, but she insists they're family."

"I am sorry," Dmitry says. "We cannot always get through to our family."

Lucy walks out to Lucas's car late at night. "I went over to the lab to talk to you earlier today. And you weren't there."

"I had other things to do."

"And your marriage? Your child?"

"Listen Lucy I'm not in the mood for a lecture from you."

"John Ross and I . . ."

"I'm sorry but screw John Ross. He owns half of my life's work, half of my father's ranch, he married my wife, he's plotted against me and taken everything he wants. How much you wanta to bet Jeremy's his son?"

"Christopher. What are you talking about? Emily cares about you."

"Screw you all." Chris walks away.

Dia gets out of bed with Lucy in a hotel room. She watches him get dressed. He says, "Do you know about your cousins selling major assets in the chemical division before the spin off?"

"Yes. There was a board meeting where they just meet quorum to above the sales. As a major stockholder I was consulted. So was Amanda."

"Do you know all of what was sold?"

"No, I didn't really pay much attention to the particulars. Several assets though, not just chemical. Why?"

"My company is co invested in the chemical subsiderary and I feel we over paid, considering the missing assets."

"I don't know. But those assets were all patents owned by CalcoHarwood itself, not the chemical division or any other part of the company."

"I've got people looking into it. See what can be done."

"Sure. I'm just not sure why you would think those assets were going with the chemical division. In my opinion if you'd acquired them too, you would have underpaid. Considerably."

Pulling up his pants he gives her a look that is clear, he knows she knows what he's after.

John Ross and Beau play pool in the rec room on the second floor of one of the barns. Pamela and Lucy walk up with snacks from the house. Lucy sits at the bar watching.

After sometime of enjoying themselves, not a care in the world, an explosion rocks them from below. John Ross watches Pamela fall through the floor. Rushing to her a few more explosions and the room collapses.

From the outside the bar is engulfed in flames.

Chris pulls his pants on as he rushes out of his cottage, barefoot, running toward the firing yelling, "Emily!"

The fire rages lighting up the twilight sky.

End of season one already?
Wow that was quick!
It's funny how different fanfic writers have different lenghts of their seasons to say the least.

I'm glad you made Sofia Bolivian. I visited that country last year and it was a good experience. :)

I felt a bit sad for Pamela at the baby shower since she had to share it with Emily and pretty much everyone was Emily's guests.

I love that the next generations of Ewings have entered your story.
It was also nice to see Cally & JR's son arrive to town. :)

No clue who blew up Southfork. But I hope our main characters made it out of there ok.

Yea I'm in the mind set of 15 episode kinda thing.

I figured it would give some diversity, White WASP Ewings verse the Hispanic Wendell's. Kinda of the idea of what they're saying about the new dynasty.

I'm hoping for as powerful in business Pamela comes off that she also seems a bit sad without friends like Chris where Emily and John Ross are the popular kids. Gives her room to change and add friends.

I felt Dallas 2012 focused to heavily on old Dallas characters and to me when Sue Ellen and Bobby should have taken the same back seat JR did and not really have gotten involved much. The show should be the younger generation and the older generation finally settled down - except for JR still trying to get his way.

Like who shot JR it's more about The who than worry about the what. I figured most would expect them to live and then be waiting for who did it. Lots of enemies. Did you expect Chris to run in after Emily?

The hospital emergency room seems in chaos as the six Ewing's fight for their lives. There also seem to be others on stretches, others gasping for air, holding onto breathing masks.

Sue Ellen runs into hospital and into Bobby's arms. "What happened?"

He just holds her.

Gary moves in next to put his arms around the two of them followed by Val.

Bobby speaks on the phone out side the hospital. "Thanks Ray . . . Yea I spoke to Lucas earlier. I'll keep you both posted . . . I don't know, but I'm afraid it might have to do with my digging too deep to find out what happened to Pam . . . Ray what ever Cliff was dealing with, these people, they're more than capable. But it goes back before him to Herbert Wentworth . . . How do I live with myself if that's the case. Look at what my decisions did to Lucas . . . Thank you for saying so, but still . . . Yes he forgave me . . . Yes he even thanked me, but Ray . . . Thank you. Really thank you."

Sue Ellen pours herself a cup of coffee. Gary says, "Thinking the same thing I am?"

"Oh god Gary. I'm shaking. Where's Val?"

"They gave her a sedative."

"How are we going to get through this?"

"They're going to be fine. I just spoke to some of the ranch hands, said John Ross was fighting to get Pamela out. They had to give up trying to get him out and get her out. And Chris." Gary chokes up. "He's bad, burned over most of his body again, ran into the fire to save Emily."

"What happened Gary." Sue Ellen holds him tight.

"I borrowed some money. Money I
. . ."

"How much?"

"A lot."

"I assumed it was something JR did. Hell it probably really is, knowing him. But Gary if you owed people money, people that were capable of hurting you, why didn't you ask me?"

"Ask my x-sister in-law."

"Yes."

"Thank you Sue Ellen." He hugs her.

"I'm still banking on it being JR, but let's get this debt of yours paid quickly."

David comes running into his house where Andrew and Zach sit with Sofia. "What the hell is this. You might know who did this!"

"I don't know for sure but . . ." Sofia begins to say.

"Listen you stupid bitch! My daughter's fighting for her life and if you think the rest of my family isn't on the line when the Ewings come for me to are as naive as our father use to say! You're going to the FBI with what ever you know and you're going to cooperate."

"I can't. Do you know what they'll do to me."

"Do you know what I'll do to you? You have any clue? Giving birth to me only goes so far. Cause you never really did anything else for me."

"Please David. I'll make this right by you. I promise."

"Oh you will. One way I another."

"I don't know for sure they had anything to do with what happened. I'm just saying they could have."

"So that's what we're going to find out."

Pamela sits up in bed looking worse for the wear. Sue Ellen wakes up and assures her she's OK. She noticed John Ross in the bed next to her. "He's fine too. Just resting." Pamela moans in pain. "You broke both your legs and took in a lot of smoke but you're going to be just fine. John Ross had some skin grafted onto his back. But he's going to be fine." Sue Ellen hugs her.

Pamela cries. "My babies."

"They were in the house. Not a scratch. They're with their au pair right now and Barbara and Ellis. No worries." Sue Ellen strokes the side of her face.

"Lucy?"

"About the same as John Ross and Beau too. Some skin grafting. Lots of pain."

"Emily."

"She's doing much better than most."

Pamela hugs her. "I don't even remember what happened."

"There was an explosion in the Rec Building at South Fork. In the gym below you. The building was leveled. We nearly lost you all. And Chris."

"Chris? He wasn't with us was he?"

"He ran in to get Emily out. He's pretty bad."

"How bad?"

"He's still in ICU."

"Oh my god."

"Some of the ranch hands ran in to help you but Chris ran right into the flames."

"For Emily?"

"Apparently. They say he was on fire carting her out."

Bobby walks around the ashes of what had been a South Fork out building. A few ranch hands approach him asking about the family. He tells them about their condition and thanks them.

"Hey you know how it is. We look out for each other. John Ross was with us fighting that brush fire a few months back, it's just what we do."

"Been paying for my wife's cancer treatment and all the help around the house. So yeah, I'd walk into a burning building for him."

"I was surprised by that boy of yours. He ran into the fire and walked out, was burning alive but carring his wife. You know most of us hear the talk. Like he married her for her money, cheats on her. But damn. I couldn't believe it. I watched him with my own two eyes carry her out and than collapse."

Bobby stands over Chris, bandaged from head to toe. "I remember when you were like this before. Never did find out who did it. Though I'm sure Nick Trevino. And, Elena disappeared. Seems like you're always fighting for your life. Seems like some woman's in the middle of everything. I hope you did this for love. I hope you love her Chris."

Sofia sits on the mega yacht with Dmitry and Dia and says to them, "Did you ever hear what happened to the the Mendez- Ochoa drug cartel?"

Dia says, "I heard something about the x-husband of Bobby Ewing's wife being involved with them. They were trying to use the Ewing family business as a front."

"Yes. Harris Ryland had been dragged into a CIA sting. With John Ross's help they apprehended the entire cartel. Harris ended up back the prison not long after his partners. He at least got a trail. The cartel never went to trial."

"Why?"

"Rumor has it that John Ross set it up with the CIA contacts he acquired through Ryland, who ended up working for his Branch Water Company, set it up for them to kill every last one of cartel."

"I wouldn't have guessed the boy had it in him."

"Your might want to guess again. Because the two of you just might have awakened a tiger by pulling on his tail."

"The key is to put a scare into the Ewings."

"What of instead of a scare you lit a fire under them. No pun intended."

"I'm not really worried about the son of a redneck. Are you?"

Dmitry laughs, "Americas are always full of themselves."

"But under estimating them, couldn't that be baiting you to indulge your hubris temptations?"

"You worry too much. They'll be cooperative and your boys will have back what they stole. As long as we get what we came for."

Andrew and Zach get on a private yet and leave. The jet taking off into the sky, flying away until it can longer be see.

John Ross makes his way into see Chris, still unconscious, tubes down his throat, the heart monitor with its irregular beat. "Don't do this to me Chris. Don't leave me . . . We'll get 'em together. You and me."

John Ross walks out of Chris's room to find Bobby who says to him, "I just got a call from your guys looking for Katherine Wentworth. They have her."

"She'll be the key to Aunt Pam. My father said Katherine convinced her she was dying. She's played with her mind for years. Kept her on the run."

"She's the linch pin around this whole thing, the people that Herbert Wentworth was involved with that she sold his personal holdings too, that have been helping her. They've got Pam and they've messed with Cliff."

"Katherine's mentally deranged and she's working with people that had Cliff scared enough to make it look like she was dead."

"People that were behind Ryland and the explosion on the methane rig. Had Cliff kill his own grand-babies. I'm not giving up on this until I unravel this whole nightmare."

"Go. I'll stay here with Chris. You go do what you've got to do. They stole a year from you and a life with Aunt Pam."

"But Christopher."

"Don't worry about him. I'll take care of him. We've got our own enemies to deal with."

Bobby hugs John Ross. "Tell him I love him and I'm gonna bring her home. I swear it."

I hope Chris is going to pull through. No I didn't see it coming that he would run in after Emily at all. But maybe this will be a turning point for them.

I hope Bobby will find Pam. :)
I look forward to find out more about what has happened to her.

I'm glad Lucy and John Ross and the kids will be ok too.

John Ross goes to walk back into his room at the hospital when a man approaches. "Mr. Ewing."

John Ross looks at his two security guards and the one says, "He's FBI."

"What can I do for you?"

"We've been working with the CIA and Branch Water in investigating what happened to you and your family. The other day Sophia Wendell came to us with some information. She's taped conversations with Dia Long and Dmitry Sechin. You know both men?"

"I do. Yes."

"We need to talk."

"Alright. Let me check on my wife. If she's up to it we can talk in my room."

"This is in regards to your business. If you'd rather not involve her."

"There are no secrets between me and my wife, business or other wise."

John Ross thanked the agent as he leave the room. Then as he closes the door Pamela asks, "You can get to them, right?"

"I can. I need to talk to you about your Aunt Katherine as well. She is alive. The death certificate was a forgery."

"OK."

"And the people your Aunt Katherine's been dealing with, she's not exactly in her right mind. But we've found her. Uncle Bobby's with her right now. She's done something. She's sick Pamela. And right now she's my first concern, dealing with her."

"My first concern are my children."

"They're secure. She drugged your father at times. Threatened him with these people. Threatened you. He did what he has to do. She drugged Aunt Pam. She had horrible hallucinations. She's kept her with her for years. Decades. At one time convinced her she was dying."

"And these people helps me her?"

"I'm taking care of them."

"Make sure you do."

John Ross walks up into a private plane and comes to face an older man sitting next to Don Lockwood. He and Don embrace as long lost friends. Don introduces the man as Jesse Mott.

Jesse says, "I want to say I'm sorry for the trouble our organization has caused you and personally thank you for your help."

"Of course. My father never once steered me wrong."

"Katherine Wentworth worked with some of my associates to get control of Wentworth Tool and Die away from her sister. There methods were unorthodox. We will do everything we can to help your uncle piece back together her life. As for going after your cousin's methane extraction process, we are satisfied it is in your hands. Her methods to use her brother were unacceptable as well."

"Can I ask, where is Katherine."

"I hope that you accept my assurances that we deal with our own, her and her accomplishes that were my associates, in our own way."

"Just as long as I have your assurances that my family is safe."

Jesse smiles. "Your father understood us. I'd like to invite you to join use. It was his request and I can certainly agree to your character."

"I'll have to give it some thought."

John Ross leans forward, "And you're comfortable with me holding onto Wentworth Tool and Die, the methane extraction process, the chemical processes of DreyAgra and Trident?"

"I'd be more comfortable if you joined us."

"I have a favor."

"Dmitry Sechin and Dia Long?"

"They're after this chemical processes. Don her held my mother secure our assets. But, I need more security if I'm going to safe keep these things for the greater good."

"When you're ready, let us know what you need."

Don says, "Your family's safe John Ross, be assured of that."

Chris still lies in a hospital bed hooked up to tubes with the sound of an irregular heart beat filling the room.

Pamela sits up in bed playing cards with Lucy and Emily.

John Ross sits in his office at Ewing Oil when David Wendell and his mother are shown in. He says, "I want to thank you for your help in identifying the people who came after my family."

"It wasn't a favor," David says.

"No I suppose not. I was also informed that you and Andrew are selling your remaining CalcoHarwood shares. A slow sell off so as not to disrupt the market."

"Again not a favor. Just the best way to get the most out of them."

"So this feud is over?"

"Not in the least John Ross. But you see, I realize I can't come in the front door and hope to accomplish anything. So I'm going to look for a back way."

Looking at Sofia John Ross says, "And I suppose you're here for moral support."

"I'm an investor in Wendell Oil. Chairman and CEO. My grandson is President."

Looking at David, John Ross adds, "And you're still with the OLM?"

"That's right."

"Matta informed me that the OLM has blocked some of the mineral rights I acquired."

"I wouldn't know. I don't look at names, just the particulars of the property."

"Of course."

"Well, anyway. You saved your skin, Mrs. Wendell, by cooperating. These people you need with. The things they are after, I'd hate to stand between them and those that find these things of great interest."

"Such as yourself."

"Oh I'm one of them certainly. But I'm the nice sort. Not everyone's as nice as me."

Bobby meets with Katherine went with in a plush and gilded room. She begs him, "Please Bobby you can't let them have me. Please. I love you."

"You did all these for love? You're sick Katherine."

"They stole everything from me don't you understand? Wentworth Industries was all mine. She was my mother not there's."

"So you druged your own family because you didn't want to share?"

"They're not my family. These people were my family, my dad's associates. And when he died she tried to double cross them and they killed her."

"They killed Rebecca."

"Yes. So you see Bobby I didn't have any choice. I had to."

"You had to take Pam away from me? You had to push Cliff and then watch him rot in a Mexican prison? You'd have never come clean. If not for JR putting me on your trail you'd still be living the high life in Europe with Pam so drugged she'd have no idea what was going on. Your sick Katherine. I can't even begin to think of a fitting punishment."

"This is because I shit you isn't it? Your whole family hates me because I lost it just a bit and shot you. Let me talk to your mother. I'll explain."

"My mother died some time ago."

"Let me talk to Gary and Ray."

"And explain what? After the hell you put them through. Put me through. Put Chris through."

Katherine stiffens up. "What about my hell Bobby?"

"I don't care about what happens to you Katherine. Take what you've got coming."

"Then I'm glad. You might have Pam back, but I killed Christopher. That's right Bobby. I killed him."

"What are you talking about?"

"The explosion in the car. My friends wanted it. They wanted his methane extraction process and I wanted Pam's son dead. So we're both happy and you can live with me taking away from you everything. You've got nothing now and Pam's a waisted shell. A fragil and weak ghost of a person."

Bobby smacks Katherine so hard she falls to the floor. "Good by Katherine." He walks out slamming the door behind him.

John Ross hugs Pamela as she goes to board a private jet. "Just remember your father is still ill. It could be years until they're health enough to return home again."

"I know. Thank you John Ross. Take care of our sons."

"Of course I will. Hurry back."

They kiss passionately and she ascends the stairs.

Inside Chris sits waiting. "I'm kinda nervous."

"Me too."

John Ross walks to the car where Lucy and Emily stand. Lucy says, "My father got a letter from JR this morning. Signed it 'love your big brother.' Can you get over that?"

"Ray got one too."

"I doubt he'd ever send something like that to my momma."

"I doubt it too. He sent my momma a letter. I think this is about the end of his master piece."

"I got a box this morning from him?"

"What was in it?"

"A picture in a silver frame of him holding me when I was just a baby and a deed. He left me Section 40."

John Ross hugs Lucy. "Not much in this world he loved more than that salty piece of land." The three of them get in the car and drive away.

Hope you like it. Just an idea for dealing with crazy Cliff in Dallas TNT and Pam being gone.

Lucy arranges everyone in front of a camera, out front of South Fork, John Ross and Pamela with Lucy in from of them and the boys, Jack, Jeremy, Steve and Mitch in front of her. Chris and Emily stand to one side of John Ross and Pamela and Beau stands to the other side.

Well I do like the Bobby & Katherine confrontation. But what I'm really looking forward to read is how Bobby's first meeting with Pam will go and also them being reuinted with Christopher. ;)

It seems like the plot of JR's masterpiece keeps thickening all the time. I enjoy that too.

But yeah it's great that you've explained why Cliff went crazy on the show. I'll look forward to see him reunited with PamBecca too. I assume that's where she was heading.

Not sure what to make of the last photo update though...

I wasn't going to do those sciences because I figured I wouldn't have Victoria Principal but I will for you as a side scene, something that could be a flash back as soon as she agrees.

I really feel this is something like how they should have handked JRs master piece. Make it grand. Make him the head of his family as he always wanted to be.

It's just a scene where the family is together - think the famous photo of the original on the front lawn: John Ross and Pamela in for Jock and Miss Ellie. Chris and Emily in JR and Sue Ellen's spot. Beau in for Bobby (waiting for his Pam - someone that won't fit the family) and Lucy just where Lucy always was. Add kids and say cheese.

Flashback IF Victoria Principal agrees to do it:

Bobby walks Out of a house to see a woman standing on a patio and looking onto a tropical beach. He says, "Pam."

She turns around to see him. She studies his face. She asks, "Bobby?"

"Yes it's me."

"Katherine said you died."

"No. I'm alive. I've missed you."

"I missed you too."

He slowly approaches her. She hugs him. He holds her tight.

Sitting in the beach in a couple of chairs, Pam and Bobby play cards when Cliff steps out to see them. He walks out to them slowly. Pam turns, notices him, and jumps up to run after him, grabbing him, hugging her. He breaks down in tears.

Pamela and Chris stand in a beautiful living room with views of the beach when Bobby walks in with Pam and Cliff.

Cliff says, "I'm so sorry princess." He begins to cry.

Pamela holds her father. "It's alright daddy it wasn't your fault."

Chris approaches Pamela. With a trembling hand she caresses his face. "You're very handsome."

"Thank you."

"Your father tells me you're super smart."

"I guess so."

"I've missed you Chris."

"I missed you too momma."

She hugs him. He cries in her arms. She cries. Bobby holds them both.

Cliff says, "I'm sorry Chris."

"It's OK."

Pamela takes her father by the hand to her cousin, aunt and uncle and the five of them embrace.

Bobby walks Pamela and Chris to a private jet and says, "Don't worry. I'll take care of them. And when they're ready we'll return to Dallas so they can see their grandchildren."

Pamela says, "Thank you Bobby." They hug and kiss checks. She climbs up into the plane.

Bobby and Chris shake hands. They then hug. Bobby says, "No one knows more than I do how hard it is to be the good guy. Just try Chris. Please."

"I'll try." Chris climbs up into the plane. Waves good buy to his father. The door pulls up and the plane pulls away.

Can't say that I like the Katherine stuff here. Did any of the characters in Dallas ever consider that this kind of thing can happen to a person who has lost as much as she did and had her whole world turned upside down? Or that she could've benefited from some real help? But I'm a rarity when it comes to this.

Lucy rides out to section 40 with Mateo. Getting off her horse she says, "Thank you for coming with me." She looks around the remains if an oil derek. She looks puzzled and the bends down to pick something up. It's a string. Pulling on it a box comes up from under ground. She sits down and finds it full of Jock and Miss Ellie's personal things, jewelry, love letters, picture. A book of poetry signed with love from Digger. Ewing Oils first ledger book, hand written. A picture identified on the back as Jason and Jock as little kids with their parents. A silver rattled engraved with Southworth. Birth certificate. Marriage certificates. A gold mind of family history. A note says, "Lucy, please make sure one of my grandchildren appreciate all this junk like you and me. Make sure they know who your grandma and grandpa were and who I was. Don't sugar coat it. Tell it like it is. I don't want to be forgotten, birdies in lies no matter how sweet they are. This is the end of my master piece. Keep this family together. Love, you Uncle JR."

John Ross and Pamela walks out to where they're rebuilding the Rec House at South Fork. He says, "Just a bit higher then before, but otherwise an exact copy."

"I agree. Even taller."

"I went for a ride with Beau the other day. Look around you know. We've gotta find that boy a girl to settle down with. And get him to build a house here nearby."

Laughing Pamela says, "Lucy said the same thing."

Beau gets up from lunch at the bar of the Whole-in-the-Wall. He says to the pretty waitress, "Ready to go?"

"You're gonna get me in trouble."

"But you'll enjoy the trouble now don't you darlin'?"

John Ross looks up from his desk as Chris walks into his office. "So I was thinking. Things at Bodhi are progressing nicely without me and word on the street is you're putting a bid together for a lease in Mexico's deep Gulf waters."

"Been more then seven decades since independents could operate in Mexico, so of course I'm getting in while the getting's good."

"What's it look like?"

"Sixteen operators and ten financials have already qualified to bid."

"And Ewing Oil's position?"

"We've already been partnered with Pemex for the last couple years on another project. On this one we're partnered with CalcoHarwood and Lone Star with additional financial backing from the Del Sol Group, not to mention direct access to Wentworth Tool and Die's drilling technology and maybe your methane extraction process."

"Who we up against?"

"Word has it ExxonMobil, Chevron, Hess, BP, Shell, Petrobras, Grazneft. Names are still coming in. Word is Wendell Oil and Gas is searching for partners."

"I want in."

"For what?"

"You find the play and I'll get you more out of it than you ever imagined possible. Make me Vice President of Technology Development for Ewing Oil."

John Ross stands and offers his hand, "Alright, let's do it."

The two shake.

Lucy sits out by the pool with Emily going over the details of a fundraising event when three cars pull up one after another and then walking up from the drive way they hear John Ross, Pamela and Chris talking business. Pamela says she heard that Wendell has joined Grazneft and Yau Tei."

"Haven't heard of Yau Tei."

"A pretty new Hong Kong Investment company. I'm still looking into their backers."

Lucy asks them, "So how was work?"

John Ross begins to tell her about the project the three of them are involved in together regarding Mexican leases and that David Wendell is also getting into the game. Lucy comments how Andrew is traveling with Zack.

Emily says "I guess that might explain why my Aunt Ava's in town."

"Whats this Aunt Ava?" John Ross asks.

"My father's sister. Always been bad blood. They, my father and Uncle Andrew, bought her out after my grandfather died. Was always a bit of a family issue over it."

Lucy says, "I'd say more than a bit since the law suits took the better part of a decade between the four siblings."

"So why would he enlist his sister's help if they slugged it out years ago, if that's the case here?" Chris asks.

"Better question, what sort of help could Ava Wendell provide?" John Ross interjects.

Chris lays in bed with a gorgeous blonde. Holding her he says, "How was that for a thank you for getting me all that wonderful information out of Wendell's office?"

She hums her appreciation.

The FBI agent says to John Ross, "We've tried but we can't make a case oh of it to go after Dmitry Sechin or Dia Long. We've arrested the people they hired to plant the explosives. The cases are slam dunks. But theirs no touching those two."

"Then I expect to get some leniency when I have to deal with them."

"No worries there. Do what ever you have to do Mr. Ewing."

"You can bet I will."

I did consider it. Not sure anyone could be of much help though. See seemed totally deranged to me in the original. I'd guess she was mentally ill to start and what happened to her when her mother revealed her other children just exasperated her illness - and that was just from watching the original. Then I add her schemes to hurt her brother and sister to aid some of her father's more corrupt associates and she's just over the edge. But I think it fits. Maybe Bobby could have tried to help her but by this position he's had all he can take. I blame Katherine for the dream season, Pam's assumed death that never happened and Cliff going crazy. She's got a lot in her plate. In the end I'm just not sure she could be helped. But theses associates of her father's take care of their own so she could be living the good life right now.

Thank you for the comment and giving me something to think about for her character.

All of Dallas gathers for the Oil Barons Ball, again. John Ross is the first to get out of a long black limousine. He holds out his hand to help Pamela out. On the other side Chris helps Emily, followed by Mateo who helps Lucy and on the other side Beau with his beautiful, young date.

The Ewing family walks up the red carpet bombarded by questions from the press, as always being pleasant and smiling and charming.

At their round table Lucy says, "I just want to say thank you to everyone. My Uncle JR would be so upset tonight, with a Barnes, Wendell and a Lee at the Ewing table, not to mention a ranch hand." She hugs Mateo's arm. She then laughs as they sit down. She leans over and says, "So Milly, remind me this evening to tell you all my gossip about your grandfather Jordan. He and my Uncle JR didn't get along so well."

David Wendell shows up and introduces his sister Ava to some friends and her date, Mitch Cooper. She explains knowing him from being on the board of the hospital where he's the chief of staff and how it would be a "hoot" to get him back to Dallas with her. Jeremy doesn't bother to introduce the woman he's with.

Sophia approaches with her date and calls for her children to follow her to their table. On the way they encounter friends with warm greetings and David's son, Liam, and his date.

By the bar Chris says to John Ross, "Now why you think Ava Wendell brought Mitch Cooper? And who the hell believes that David's left the running of Wendell Oil to that kid of his while he stays on the OLM blocking every move in Texas of CalcoHarwood makes."

"He's your brother-in-law."

"He don't know a damn thing about running an oil business. David's still running the company and you know it."

"Speaking of which. That information you got on Wendell's Mexican bid. How'd you get it."

"I'm sure you know how. Nothing you haven't done."

"I might find someone to do what needs getting done, but you've got a wife. I expect you to remember that."

"Listen John Ross I don't need a parent meddling in my marriage, so let's just agree to mind our own business."

"That girl's family. And I ain't your momma or your daddy. I'll kick your ass if you hurt any member of my family, including Emily. You remember that." John Ross walks off.

Lucy talks to Mitch. He says, "Ava's trying to talk me into returning to Dallas to run Hurst Memorial."

"What's she got do with Hurst Memorial?"

"I know it's not one of the hospitals the Ewing's are involved in, but with her move back to Dallas, she's been put on the board."

"I see and just happened to ask you to run the hospital."

"There's an open position."

"I see. Nice of her."

"And Sally?"

"Things haven't been so good between the two of us."

Lucy raises an eye brow.

Pamela asks John Ross, "You confronted Chris?"

"I did. I let him into a third of Ewing Oil so there wouldn't be any fights. I'm not having it Pamela. This family will act like family or so help me God. No more fighting. He can have all the stuff he wants. But this double dealing and sleeping around stops. We don't need it. I ain't having my kids or my nephew grow up worrying about family squabbles."

"I don't understand him. What's he trying to prove by getting one over on the Wendell's, at least in the way he's going about it. Pay someone else to get what he needs."

"I don't know. Chris has spent his whole life fighting. Maybe it's all he knows."

"Emily finds out and it'll kill her."

"I don't know. I don't know what she expects out of her marriage. But we still have a score to settle." John Ross points out Long Dia at a far end of the room.

Pamela then points out Matta.

John Ross says, "I've found a replacement. We just need to find the right time to remove her."

"And Sechin?"

"We'll handle him."

"Don't see why Sofia's tapes aren't enough to put them away."

"They've gone missing."

Liam Wendell stops Beau and says, "You're Beau Ewing aren't you?"

"Yes. Who's asking?"

"Liam Wendell. I'm the President of Wendell Oil and Gas. And I hear you've been working for Whitaker Ackerman. What do they bill themselves as, the state's only bipartisan strategic communications firm?"

"That's right."

"I hear you're working on getting the state it's own bouillon depository."

"Helping lobby the legislature."

"Well you Ewing's don't fall short of political connections. Any political ambitions of your own?"

"Not in the foreseeable future."

"You know Richardo Bailleres and his daughter, Mexican Senator Nina Nieto?"

"Yes I knew her brother Enrique from the disaster relief efforts after Hurricane Amelia down in Central America. We worked together."

"So I heard. Shame he didn't make it out."

"A very brace man."

"Mr. Bailleres's business is partnering with Wendell Oil and Gas and Heart Petroleum on a Mexican oil lease."

"I thought you had other partners."

"Rumors. Grazneft and Yau Tei have joined forces to go after a lease of their own. Dmitry Sechin is involved with Grazneft and Long Dia is the money behind Yau Tei."

"You don't say."

"We're not exactly on good terms with them right now."

"I'm told neither are we."

"His about you consider working with Wendell Oil and Gas on our bid? It'd give you some diversity to your knowledge of the oil industry."

"You're talking about hiring Whitaker Ackerman."

"Already have. Now I'd just like to get you in on out project. Milly Lee's an old friend. She's a pretty thing isn't she? A brilliant political operative herself. You do know the Lee's hate the Ewings too."

"I've heard."

"We'll give it some thought."

Well, I will admit that you did a good job of showing that Katherine does have a serious problem. It's better than just making her a total b**** like I've seen in so many other stories. This was more in character. I was a bit put off by Bobby hitting a woman, though. Every time Katherine gets hit in a fanfic, I feel like it's some attempt at fan service for readers. In my opinion, the reason why Katherine would probably never be able to get better at this point is because no one ever tried to help her or even asked to hear her side of things in the show. I always thought that Bobby and JR were total asses to Katherine even before she shot Bobby. Bobby just used her for her money, and when he found out that she had slept with JR, he just labelled her as being sick. Bobby was totally stupid to just assume that Katherine should be able to just magically love her half-siblings without really knowing them. Getting used to blended families is not that simple. Especially when they have everything you have wanted, which can just make you feel jealous like Katherine. And JR pretty much raped Katherine and expected her to sell him some oil fields. He made it clear with his words and actions that he was telling her that she was only good for sex and money. Not good for a woman's self-esteem in my opinion. I apologize for my little rant there and if I sound judgmental. I just hate how 99% of any fanfiction I've read with Katherine in it is usually just about her keeping Pam locked away, killing people, being obsessed with Bobby, or being a horrible mother. Or usually, all of that put together. But in the authors' defense, they probably don't know what else to do with her based on what they have to work with.
