Meena is clearly the first of a sinister new species of soap opera villain. She was kind enough to explain to Priya that murdering her would be useful in many ways. Her bedside manner was proof if it was needed, that Meena takes pride in her work.

I'm sure that in time people everywhere will be envious of lucky few that proved worthy of Meena's delicate touch.

Meena wields her twisted reasoning as her weapon of choice. The run of the mill, everyday soap murderer should study Meena .

She continues to elevate and set new standards of mortal coil removal.

Her game is first rate, The likes of Pablo Escobar, Gus Fring, Pat Phelan, and sniper in the closing scenes of Full Metal Jacket should fear her.

Ain't seen much of Dawn recently, is she back turning tricks for skag while her beloved father tells e'rybody about the secrete buried once, them moved and buried again. So turning tricks for skag seems reasonable as Dawn is best off hopped up when PC Swell comes knocking on the door. Dawn best pin it on Will.

Tracy, as always, is a treasure.

Emmerdale was good until 2010 I would say and has been on a slippery slope since like someone else said on here has become a chavvy village instead of a village with decent characters everyone is a killer or a thieve is tedious.

I'm not sure what the specification is for a village to achieve chavvy status. Decent characters.... is ssubjective consideration. The murder rate is soap opera gold.

I started watching Emmerdale in 2011. Emmerdale has been excellent. Some wonderful storylines and a few that are just silly which is in keeping with expectations of soaps.

Soap operas are contrived, and often contrived to a point beyond the everyday experiences of the hoi polloi. Emmerdale's cast and production staff are good at what they do.

Been watching classic episodes on Youtube and is night and day the show has boring and overused characters like Chas,Cain and Charity get rid of the deadwood and bring in some decent characters.

Cain is the best soap character on tv. Jeff Hordley plays him brilliantly.

Emmerdale has been so good this week.

Dawn, Billy and Meena has been excellent.
Al, Chas and the pub has been entertaining.
Liv, Arron and Ben has been very good.

Meena and Ben. Didn't see that coming. Wow!

Nate and Tracy's storyline has been very good, very entertaining

They pair up well on screen.

Nate's expression was priceless when the one night stand made a surprise reappearance.

As for Ben, he was Meena's best murder yet. Meena's the example that other soap villains should study
Billy is in great danger, someone should tell him

Tracy is ace, what sort of jam roll would actually endanger their relationship with Tracy. Tracy is a delicate flower,

Liv's in a spot of bother with the law, charged with Meena's best work to date.

The skag head street walker has now earn herself a place on my list of favourite Emmerdale ladies. That's quite a big task and Dawn succeeded.

Pryia's current storyline is rather sobering and gives one pause for thought.

Moira still seems hell bent on bothering with Cain, she should do herself a favour and send Cain packing.

Belle, as always, is a treasure. A bigger bunch of cutthroats will never be found that exceeds the Dingles. Belle should be seated as the rightful head of the household, Cain's time as head of the band of Dingles is quickly coming to the end.

Emmerdale has continued to excel. Vinny the only one who thinks Liv needs help, being innocent of Ben's murder. While everyone else has written Liv off.

Arron leaving was a little surprising. While Bernice had been entertaining.

I'm sad to see Aaron leave and thought his exit wasn't anything special, just like Diane's. Still, at least they weren't killed off.

I'm gripped with Meena, her treatment of Manpreet and her scary bunny boiler-ish ways with Billy.

With the recent exits of Luke, Ben and Aaron, are we down to just one gay character left in Ethan?

I read somewhere that Mathew Wolfenden and Isabel Hodgins were suspended from the show over some comments. I have no idea how true that is or what the content is about, only that their characters were quickly written out of the show.

I just 'loved' how Meena flipped on her sister and now has Ethan and Charles distancing themselves from Manpreet. I did hold my breath when Meena's trophy box was spilled by Manpreet.

Billy, Meena and Dawn is working. Billy is blind to the fact that Meena's dangerous while Dawn would keep him safe.

Now that I think about, I have not seen Victoria and David in a while. Have they been permanently removed?

Ethan deserves a love interest, long overdue.

That Sam is as stupid as the day is long. Ridicules to choose Dingle code over Lydia

Nicola's call to arms following Al's persuasion offensive. A call that Chas has heeded... I'm hoping a spectacular showdown between Al and Chas and by extension that bunch of cutthroats she calls family.

Will and Bernice was just brilliant, Bernice is dethatched from..... well EVERYTHING. Samantha Giles is a master of her craft.

Knowing that Ethan was seeking answers to my his mother walked out of his life. Meena recklessly toyed with Ethan's emotions. Then Meena only pinned it all on Manpreet....

Clearly some powerful malevolent demons have taken total control of Meena, in acts words and misdeeds. She murked old Ben a treat, and is quite happy for LIv to take the rap for murking Ben a treat. Arron leaving, Sam and Lydia relationship dissolving, Unneeded pressures on Chas trying to keep head from slipping beneath. all at a time when her heartbroken son ended his relationship with his sister and left, just left. All stemming back poor old Ben's fly murder... While Meena has no time for other people unwittingly caught up in Meena first rate work .

Billy is in the s***! Dawn gonna figure it out that our Billy is in clutches of the demons that now have absolute mastery and control of The angle of the NHS, The considerate nurse that works with that nice Dr Liam, who's, as if by soap magic, daughter was only murked by the practice nurse

As every, Belle was a treasure, Nate's a twit, Tracey is ace, Yes Chas, 'bout time you declared "war" on Al. Kerry continues about her greasy ways entertaining strangler looking Chole. Amy as ever spent most of time talking FUUUUUUNNNNNNNYYYYY! And Mandy makes me love her more every time she gets involved in Vinny's life and her best intensions blow up in her face. But, hey that ain't gonna stop Mandy getting involved again and again and again.

God only knows how much I love Emmerdale :love7:
