Perfectly understandable that Callum would defend himself. As for Blaming Leyla,... that's the gold.

Marshall likes Arthur. So Pollard has brought The Corner (not on a corner village shop.) Idiot. So sad it is not going to be a Londis or Happy Shopper. itv missed a trick there with the on screen product placements. They could have made a killing. They could have had Londis buy it and David be the manager running it. Instead he will run the village shop along with pollards money into the ground.

Cain, no surprise, continues to be an ungrateful rat. Kyle shot the wrong guy. With Amy and the ungrateful rat as parents.... no surprise he shot the gentleman instead of the rodent.

David is an oaf. Happy to pin his offences on Victoria, after Victoria said no to the oaf's request for her to suck up his crimes.... does that anyway. Now he's dumping on Leyla over Jacob and his failed vigilante nonsense. The same Jacob that denied David was his father!

Charity's just excellent..... strangler looking Chloe is in, fool Mackenze is out!

Chas and Caleb are still continuing to show the cutthroat Dingles how to live right. Except Belle who's a treasure!

Chas was always going to be forgiven by everyone simply because without Chas, they'll have nothing.

As useful as it would be, I can't see Paddy taking his own life. But if he chooses to do so, taking Cain and Gabby with him would be helpful.

Loved Nicola and Bernice, how did they keep a straight face filming that. Classic Emmerdale.

Memo to Iain McLeod at Corrie this is how comedy is done.

Charity really caught my attention this week. It's like Balis dying robbed her of justice, which it did.

Mackenze is low life that doesn't deserve Charity. After everything Charity has been through, Mackenze's betrayal is a whole new low.

As mentioned above, Nicoo and Bernice fighting in the street was hilarious. Samantha Giles is fantastic.

Good for Laurel standing up to the ghastly little man with his backwards ideas and bigoted attitude.

Emmerdale weave up some magic.

Caleb is a fascinating character, but only because I don't have a clue what his intentions are and if he is who he says he is.

I read Darcy Grey has quit and don't blame him. He's had no real storyline other than being Ethan's partner and even Ethan hasn't really had anything to get his teeth into. Even Naomi has had better storylines and she's newer than both of them.

Really interested in Paddy's mental health storyline. Dominic Brunt can be brilliant when given the chance.

Ethan has been criminally overlooked. Seems a pity as given his character bio there's a lot of potential.

I am bored already of Bernice and pointy Bob and the B&B. Bring back Pollard. However the scenes are 100% funnier than Corrie right now. What saves it is the wonderful Samantha Giles.
