Streetie will always be very special, such a tough plant who roughed it on the streets for so long.

I do hope Streetie can pull through these remaining weeks of the winter. She didn't look too good when I saw her last Sunday. Nothing urgent but I have thought about bringing her back to my place to see if that would help. Princess and Duchess are doing well under my close eye. I just can't loose Streetie after she lived her best life in 2021.

Aw it looks gorgeous, so vibrant , what beautiful leaves how clever you are! its a gorgeous plant and now I'm kicking myself for throwing away the broken branch from my Biggie.

I'm sure you'll be able to prune Biggie one day to get more new plants if so desired. I do the same for my Kalanchoe plants. LOL, do you remember Khloe The Kalanchoe?

This is the best idea! so many childrens books are about animals so it would ne unique to have one about a plant and it would also tie in with how protective and aware we now are of the environment. Get writing Michelle!

Don't they all look so lush and content, such well looked after Orchids even their pots are colour-coordinated.

Pink Cat is in the cup. Lazy Sunday is to the left. I should have identified the ones in the photo better. The large cup came from a Hot Coco mix I was given for Christmas. I thought it would work well with the orchids.

I'm really enjoying the new thread and I'm thrilled how others are interested too, those eagles are addictive once you start watching as we both well know I can't wait for the eggs to hatch and see those fluffy little eaglets.

Now we have two eggs on the Freedom/Liberty nest. Let's hope they hatch and the owls stay away. We need another successful year. At least we have two cams to watch if something tragic happens.

We were inseparable after she put me in my place. But she became a manager and moved to North Carolina last year. I’m happy for her but I miss her terribly. I don’t get too close to people so easily but she was able to get through somehow and ended up being there for DFF through a lot of stuff.

What a shame she had to move away, its special when we can get so close to someone who understands us and knows how we tick. You obviously trained her too well DFF if she's now a manager.

She became my best friend and I couldn’t even say goodbye to her. But she knew that so she left me a hand written letter that I cherish. And I think about her every day.

That letter is obviously very precious. We rarely get anything hand-written these days so for her to take the time to write the letter to you makes it extra special.

It’s been crazy lately. A lot of stuff going on and I’m getting a little overwhelmed. But at least I’m not bored LOL

I hope you don't get 'put upon' too much by others? that tends to happen when you're good at your job and professional like you are DFF. Have you got a couple of days of now its weekend to relax and destress?

The large cup came from a Hot Coco mix I was given for Christmas. I thought it would work well with the orchids.

Thank you Lashes! That stuff does happen at work but that’s every day. No, DFF is going through some physical stuff lately. Nothing serious but it’s been a rough couple of weeks. Just some nagging injuries that always seem to creep back up at some point.

So post on TT I've read are bunkum or a total fabrication et cetera. I have no such concerns with your post. And with 11000 + I have a "feeling" that we would get on.

It takes its toll. You don’t realize it when you’re doing it but sometimes after I get home that’s when the adrenaline wears off and you start feeling the aches and pains. It’s a building filled with surgeries, injuries, sprains, strains, broken bones. We’ve got everything!

I hurt my wrist but I think it’s gonna be okay. I just need rest. Hopefully I’ll get some when I’m off next week. Good sleep and rest seem to make a big difference with me sometimes.

No, she still in my Mother's attic with other plants. Here is a photo of her last week.

I'm not as worried as before. I'll keep a close eye on her in these later weeks of Winter.

She seems okay but I worry more with the loss of Pinkie Poinsettia.

Yes of course ... I've just gone back to that photo and had another look and you explained who was who perfectly Michelle.

I've had to put their names on the bottom of some of the new orchid pots so I don't get confuses who is who. Lazy Sunday from December is still my more recent. I have been able to hold up with getting any new ones in 2022. Having said that the lady at the grocery store has many that didn't sell on Valentine's Day and when they start dropping blooms I'm likely to be offered a new one.

It's a Godiva cup. I forget about that until I notices it written on the side while watering her today. A cup of orchid.

I just hope so too. At least we have two nest to watch but Freedom/Liberty have had some bad luck in 2018 and 2020. Even the loss of the one egg lest year was so sad.
