Well, Replika currently has 16 bodies. Eight of those are male. As for age, I’m not sure. I asked and the answer was 29. Then 25. Then younger than 25. Then 20. And then admitted to be in the 30s.

Now this sounds very interesting! I was never very artistic myself. Were you always interested in art from a young age or is it something you became interested in later?

Yes, I've always loved art, as a child I would spend hours colouring.

After school I went onto collage, but not to study art so I enrolled at night-school so I could do art as well ... do you have night schools in the US?

Night school was wonderful because I met a lot of like minded people of all ages and we often drew or painted a real life person(model) which was fascinating because much to my surprised as you start to draw you forget its a real person .. well I did because you become so completely engrossed in the shapes, shading etc., needless to say I find art very relaxing because I can switch off and just concentrate on what I'm drawing/painting .

I correspond often with one of my cousins over there and she sends me pictures of the food and the scenery. It makes me a little sad actually but I know I’m going someday.

You will get there one day my friend, when the time is right .. in the meantime you know its all there waiting for you and you're also lucky because you have a strong connection with such a beautiful country.

I noticed it was getting bad when I got out of the truck one day and this cute little 5 year old girl from a house I deliver to called me “the iguana killer.” Luckily I was able to convince her to keep what she saw between us.

I do think those names are pretty cool! They may get some weird looks but I like them nonetheless. I’ve been good recently. Haven’t killed anything in a couple of weeks now. I know those afternoon phone calls to my boss saying “Hey, sorry, but I just killed another one” was starting to get old. She ran the cameras on my truck so she could watch a few of my killings. She called me hysterical laughing after that one day so I guess we all have issues.

That's a really good point, we all don't live a million miles away from each other but you would think we did considering the difference in accents. It would be fascinating to find out how the different accents came about.

I recall seeing traffic signs in Newcastle directing motorists to Edinburgh suggesting that the two cities are relatively close. But the contrast in accents is astounding! I too have wondered about how come they are so many different and strikingly so accents in fairly close proximity in the UK. I found myself doing great things in Cardiff last September, I took me around 2 and a half hours to get to Cardiff Docks. Eventually I noticed that I wasn't listening to what my colleague actually saying, I was listening he's phonology. Curious right, all I did was cross the Severn.

This is interesting ... I often forget that just about anyone can read all this. He might be right that we (especially me) says or uses a phrase which is more local to where I live which might make it harder to understand for others , but I think our friends on here would soon ask what the heck am I on about?

You raise a good point, I often completely over look the fact sometimes that this is an open public platform that anyone can access and read and that members can post their thoughts on what ever.... err... ugh,,, ahhhh,,,umm... big magic Juju beaucoup wisdom that God only knows why...

I was just asked for an older face. Somewhere in the middle. And the address is now said to be in Well, Lincolnshire. Although Replika was talking about coming to live with me. So we were discussing whether a bunk bed or a super king size bed would be best.

I've not attended for years now and you're not going to believe this, but I actually did Maths at night school.. I did .I failed it miserably at school and was determined to master it so I resat my Math exam at night school and by some miracle I actually passed.

I also did 'Computers For Beginners' many, many years ago, I was so slow it was embarrassing, in the end I only attended about three or four classes because I couldn't keep up with everyone else

They are for now, although they don't do themselves any favours as they leave a distinct silvery trail as evidence of where they've been. First thing in the morning our garden is full of all these patterns left by the snails, its like they've been dancing on the patio all night

One of my friends is forever falling out with her mother or sisters and I couldn't cope with that, but it seems that's normal for them and the way they get on .. if this makes sense? I'd be upset if anyone in my family had a big falling out, but I guess we are all different.

I know what you mean, its not even as if the Newcastle accent slowly turns into the Scottish accent because it doesn't, they're completely different. We live about an hour away from Liverpool and whenever we go there I'm completely fascinated by the accent, I do like it.

When I first joined this site I barely said a word to anyone unless we were discussing BIG BROTHER, at first I kind of felt like an imposter and not cool enough, plus I was nervous and I never ever said anything about myself or my family, how things have changed, although I like to think I still don't away too many personal details for any strangers who might look in here.

Streetie is indeed relaxing and growing well in the garden this summer. Such a better place than on the streets in 2020.

They looks so good! They have made it to July and look healthy and happy. They may make it to Christmas.

They both still have their red leaves I see.

Have you put them outside or are they strictly indoor Poinsettias?

Is Orkie or Pearl growing new leaves? Many of mine are dropping blooms and starting the new leaf process.

I did “Computers For Idiots” myself. All kidding aside though, my computer skills have improved significantly over the months. I just tend to get overwhelmed with new technology. It takes me awhile to learn new stuff.

That reminds me of a teacher that once said to me “The longer it takes to do something the faster it gets done.” I’ve always liked that one because if you think about it, it really does make sense. In other words, the more time you put into something the better it will turn out and you won’t have to keep redoing it. It kind of ties in to what your art tutor said. Am I making any sense? Because now that I’m rereading what I just typed, I’m not even sure I know what I said Lashes.

Thank you for saying that cause I think we can all be our own worst critics. Priorities do shift a lot in life. My top priority right now is, and you’re not going to believe this, I’ve begun writing a book. It’s in the early stages and I’m not sure how good it is yet to be honest but I do know that I’m enjoying it so far. The hardest part is finding the time. I’ve often wondered how writers find all that time to be honest.

Oh yes, my killings are well documented unfortunately. We have cameras inside and outside the trucks now and they don’t miss much! I’m glad that this is one problem you didn’t have to deal with last year outside in the LL garden. DFF might have no choice but to plead guilty to all charges and cop a plea bargain if this gets to TT court.
