Finally! I like that they set up their own channels - hopefully this means they'll be on ad-supported platforms in Europe soon enough.

But will this be the HD remastered version, or the old, blurry stuff?
Sadly, this primetime soaps channel is not available on PLEX Germany.
All possible crap there, english/amarican content as well, but not that specific soap channel :re:

Not quite “streamingas it won’t be available on demand but rather being “broadcast” on a FAST channel. It is however a start

Most of the WB FAST channels are available on numerous platforms including Tubi so keep an eye out if Plex isn’t your thing.

As for HD, we may be in for a surprise but on the other hand, they may not want to put the remastered version on a FAST channel which is free and only generates some affiliate advertising revenue for them. Although there are HD versions of other shows on the different WB channels. It depends on their plans and interest of other, paid for, streamers because they would pay actual licensing fees to WBD.

Rumours suggest that Knots is now officially on offer for third party services so hopefully a few will acquire the on-demand streaming rights.

Good that it's available somewhere. But I'd much rather have a proper DVD or Blu Ray release. I am not a fan of streaming. Especially not since there's a zillion different servers that you all have to subscribe and pay for. I'd rather pay once for the stuff I want and keep it.

My hope is that this is just the start and at the very least it'll become available for purchase via streaming. That is what typically happens in these cases.

I agree with you here. Not sure how realistic it is, but I would love a physical copy. For some shows streaming is fine, but Knots being my favorite show, I'd love to have a good quality physical copy that i know will always be there.

On plex, i have watch the trailer ( they call it a trailer but it's a diner scene from the pilot) , the quality is bad, clearly not hd
The “trailer” is not made for the FAST channel. It’s from way back when linked to the DVD release of seasons 1 and 2.

The Prime Time Soaps by WB FAST channel has just been added to Freevee (US version). Currently showing the same Falcon Crest marathon as on Plex.

The channel will likely also make an appearance on Tubi and potentially Xumo (and any other services which offer FAST channels).

Different services might be easier to view outside the US with the relevant setup (I won’t give details here as there is a lot of information available on the internet).

Since reading this news earlier this AM, I've been watching Plex's reruns of Falcon Crest and enjoying the trip down memory lane, But it was a chore to find it. The menus and sluggish response from the remote...I hope this channel shows up on more "mainstream" FAST outlets. I guess I am spoiled by Pluto.

But in the meantime.....Julia's alive! Angela is the world's most disagreeable hostage ever. And that guy just found a barrel full of jewels under Falcon Crest!

Switch to Freevee! Much better TV Guide and they’ve also just added the Hit Sitcoms by WB channel currently showing a Growing Pains marathon
