After hearing sooooo much about how this movie was a defining moment in the business of show. How this was THE example of how to make a talking picture RIGHT!
I actively kept an eye out for Brief Encounters. So sacking off the usual sinning on a Saturday evening to watch this high watermark in the whole of motion picture history... It started with someone getting grit in her eye (if memory services) and a chap coming to her aid, looking to dip his wick no doubt... the rest was just utter rubbish. I imagine that who ever wrote this tripe was enjoying "late night candle light". And, dear God, who stands right on the edge of a platform when a steam train spewing coal dust and ash and embers is whistling past! But, of course, I'm not one to grumble.

All of them. Actually all the super villains that Wayne thwarted. I get the premise of superhero and all that. But it as Gotham City is such crime ridden hell hole, the good citizens will be looking for a release from the insane antics of Catwoman, The Joker et al, so instead of trying to steal the (insert your thoughts here), and as criminal enterprises are profit driven... why doesn't Catwoman just start slinging thrills on the one's.... don't make waves and certainly don't a trail of corpses. Beaucoup bread will roll in. All while Batman is tangling with The Penguin and not noticing. While over in National City, Supergirl has the space zombies in check. But as she is Supergirl and artillery shells bounce off her, how come she has pierced ears. Her earlobes would be super lobes! But of course, I'm not one to grumble!
