Queen Elizabeth II has officially stated that she wants step-daughter Camilla to become Queen Camilla when Prince Charles becomes King.

Not very surprising. He's next in line and she's his wife.

But... how many Brits will love and cherish Charles & Camilla? They don't have an ounce of the class and dignity that QEII has.

They are some of the richest people in the UK but they still think they are entitled to sponge of the taxes of some of the poorest people in the country. They actually disgust me.

My grandmother for one could never see the difference between Queen Mary, wife of George V, who she fondly remembered, and Elizabeth or Victoria, who were monarchs in their own right.

For a brief time, Camilla excelled in her role as concubine to heir apparent. Concubine, being considered as a, is no longer Camilla's concern. It hasn't been for a long time.

The Princess Of People's Hearts, who dropped her draws for anyone within sightlines didn't get close to attaining the dizzy heights of concubine. She didn't struggled to make taxpayer funded brass mind. The POPH's failed her O'levels twice even though she went to exclusive seat of learning, was working as a nursery teacher's assistant. If not for Charles being unable to wed Camilla in the early 80's but still being expected to find a Queen and sire an heir.... Diana who?

Their whole marriage was a farce beginning to end. Diana was chosen and paraded in a well stage managed production. When the comedy was publicly unravelling, I'm sure that she was advised on how to present herself as the party so wronged, but needs to be strong for the kids. Both Charles; and Hewitt's progeny.

Where does the figure of £350,000,000 per year come from? I've done a quick search and the most recent report compiled in 2019 gives the tax burden for the royal family £67m. A number of site reported the same figure. I searched, quickly mind, how much the contribute to the UK economy, and 2 sites are saying for 2017 the amount was £1.8bn.
