Well - you can't have too much of a good thing. With Boris being Boris, the EU taking legal action against the UK and the upcoming US election, the world really needs Spitting Image at the moment. I'm so glad it's back.

That vampire is amazing and Cummings just looks like an alien. Poor Greta, although you could argue that it's amazing to have a puppet of yourself at the age of 16.

Oh, I think it's good there appear to be no sacred cows. Anyone who puts themselves in the public eye could be next.

Back in the day someone knew they'd made it if they got to be a Spitting Image puppet, so I'm sure that could still be the case.

I'm interested to see what they will be able to get away with.

That puppet of Meghan is almost flattering, more like an Al Hirschfeld caricature than a grotesqueries of SPITTING IMAGE. Makes me wonder if they're taking a more tribalist approach to comedy or if they're just afraid of the blowback that any parody of Meghan is racist.

I watched it and I have to say I found Dominic Cummings the most entertaining. I was laughing my head off at his 'Earthly snacks' line (he is portrayed as an alien). Greta Thunberg is also very amusing.

It was amusing and a bit gross in places (parts of em...Trump's anatomy has it's own puppet), but overall it is lacking something that the original brought. I think so anyway, maybe it just needs to get going. Did you watch it @Mel O'Drama ?

A few choice lines:

Agree, @Angela Channing about the scripts. I thought I would have a problem to understand it fully because I'm not deep into British politics. But I laughed nevertheless twice about Dominic Cummings' vampire. As long as Cummings is there Johnson comes off lightly as half as bad. Is this mirroring the reality?
