Recently I have been a bit obsessed with interviews with Debbie Reynolds. She was probably the last of that great golden age still kicking and still touring and working. I know Olivia de Havilland is still around but not in the same way Debbie was. From the interviews that I have seen that have mostly been in the last ten or so years before her death she comes across as such a lovely woman. Very funny, honest, and a very true, and good person.
I've always been obsessed with old Hollywood and Debbie is someone I have always been aware of. Mostly due the Elizabeth Taylor and Eddie Fisher scandal but I never really saw much of her acting, outside of singing in the rain and then her stint on Will & Grace many years later. I think that's about to change. I just ordered her book, Unsinkable, too.

Have you seen 'Bright Lights'? It's a documentary about Debbie Reynolds and Carrie Fisher made not long before their deaths. It's really wonderful. It gives a nice overview of both their careers and their relationship over the years. Check it out if you can.

Yes. In fact, I correctly guessed that Meg Ryan and Susan Howard were Capricorn Rising -- years before I had birth time data on either of them -- because of those nose crinkles.

Not that I'm always right, you understand.

I was just watching the S5 episodes with Dex in Paraguay when he has a fever, and he's all Hutch-withdraws-from-smack... I'm still about 95% convinced he's Cancer Rising.

Now that I've watched one Goldie Hawn interview YT is sending more my way. This is her with Barbara Walters in 1982 and it's just wonderful. Could she be the most effervescent woman alive??

She's adorable. Although Barbara Walters really annoys me.

I've always liked Ethan Hawke and he's been in a lot of great movies. Nice to hear him talk about the 'Before' series which I love, and he also has some good stories about his experiences working with various actors and directors.

Have you hacked my YouTube account, this was just recommended to me. I also had just re-watched If These Walls Could Talk on there they other day and was reminded how great an actress she is. I think she's underrated.

It was just recommended to me too! I guess it's because of some of the same interviews we've watched from this thread. Anyway, yes, Sissy is one hell of a good actress.
