I don't think I could use something as delicate and personal as the death of a family member in an online argument because it would stain that tragedy.

It's not about what it does to SJP, but what it does to KC herself.

Who says? If SJP is so indelicate as to use the death of Cattrall's family member to get online attention, and Cattrall's offense is sufficient, then why take the upper hand unless Kim wants to take it?

There are lots of people I work with that I am not friends with. I mean we are pleasant to each other in work but we have no real friendly relationship. I have no desire to be involved in their lives. They likely feel the same way about me. I can count my real friends on one hand.

I think I would describe it as awkward.
And since KC is probably not in the mood for awkward situations right now, I can understand if she would say..."leave me alone/go away" or something like that.

But her response was hateful and vengeful.

Maybe SJP's message should have been a bit more formal and to the point, and not so cyber hug-ish?

But that's not how Kim Cattrall sees it. She effectively sees it as she was bullied and alienated on the set of the show. She feels that SJP was the one responsible for this. She also may feel that SJP is responsible in a way for all the stories in the press that came about where Kim was the difficult one on set, that she was being a diva and holding out always for more money. Basically Kim is sick of SJP's using her to make herself look better.

Kim Cattrall was a natural comedic actress, a natural scene stealer. The camera went to her, she lit up the scenes. SJP was maybe not so happy with this as she saw it as her show. Despite her limited and often unconvincing acting abilities.

I dunno. I think most people have SJP's number by now. They've figured her out. I mean Kim is the star of Mannequin! Mannequin for the love of God! And the one every one quotes when they talk about Sex and the City. SJP plays the same awkwardly neurotic whimsical girly girl in EVERYTHING. Over Christmas one of her romcoms kept coming on when I was at work. That one where Diane Keaton plays her boyfriend's mom. It brought out a rage in me. She's playing this teenage girl type nightmare of woman in her 40s. It's just not even in anyway real. Yea... I'm not a fan.

I like Kim. I like people who call shit when the see it and wont play the games.

I also think Kim's just a much better and more interesting actress.

I don't like romcoms and if that's the only thing SJP does then it would be hard for me to rate her as an actress.
I've only seen KC in the mini-series Scruples (I don't remember the scenes but I know she was in it) so I can't comment on her either.
