We were waiting for the doors to open at a show years ago in Altoona and this rental car pops up and out jumps Tugboat, Koko B Ware, and Rugged Ronnie Garvin....Koko opened the trunk and pulled out the covered cage with frankie the bird....the kids went nuts
When Bobby Heenan was a prominent heel.. I met him in the parking lot in the Poughkeepsie arena. He was so cool.. Asked us if we enjoyed the show....

This was before the net was prominent so his kindness baffled us.. No kayfabe.. Kinda ruined my innocence..

The internet ruined wrestling..

Trump leading in Ohio, a state that Obama won twice is not good news and Hillary's lead in Florida is within the margin of error of most polls. I really would have expected Hillary to have bigger leads in both these states. I think Texas is probably going to Trump as his lead there looks too big for Hillary to turn around at this stage. On the plus side, Pennsylvania looking like it going to Hillary. Based on those polls, Hillary will win but I think it might be closer than many had hoped.

I have to disagree. Turnout is the key and early voting is telling us that turnout among likely Republican voters is down across the board, deflated by the nomination of an unacceptable candidate and unable to vote for the opposition. If the trend holds up it moves from solid win, which is a near sure thing right now, to overwhelming victory unseen in many years.

The horse race narrative the mainstream media is peddling is complete horse hockey, there is nothing that indicates it is close in any way. The Senate is going to the Democrats too and even Rubio is looking like he will lose. A well-deserved loss it will be too!

Trump's fatal mistake was ignoring retail politics and having no ground game. You can't win if people don't turn up to vote.

What happens on November 9 is the real question? Trump is looking like he may not concede and an open white supremacist movement has been sparked from its slumber in basements and shadows. Newt Gingrich has been making moves to take over, a shameless attempt to resuscitate his long over career. Ironic too that the man who is largely responsible for Trump, who started the vilification at any cost and using special investigations as pure partisan political weapons, is trying to muscle in on the con man who sits atop the giant stinking turd known as the Republican Party.

Trump's comment of "She's a Nasty Woman", Oh, the "IRONY" of Hillary quoting Michelle Obama's comment of "When they go low, we go high". Then, in promptly runs Elizabeth Warren going low about we "Nasty Women are going to take our Nasty Feet and vote you,
Donald Trump out of our lives forever". :giggle:

Look's like Elizabeth is somewhat confused on her low's and high's.:bag:

And what Michelle Antoinette really means is that she and her besties "go high" in the airplane that we all pay for.

Yes, but the good news is Hillary is well on track to win Pennsylvania, which is all she needs to win the presidency.

I really would have expected Hillary to have bigger leads in both these states.
Yes, but in a rational world, Trump couldn't have been nominated dog catcher, much less elected.

I think Texas is probably going to Trump as his lead there looks too big for Hillary to turn around at this stage.
Yes, but I love the fact that Trump has to worry about losing states that ought to be slam dunks for him...Texas as well as Utah, Georgia, and Arizona, the latter two being states she actually has a chance of winning, especially Arizona. I also think she'll win North Carolina, which I love because I live there. lol

On the plus side, Pennsylvania looking like it going to Hillary.
Of course it will. Trump has about as much of a chance winning Pennsylvania as I have winning Miss America.

Based on those polls, Hillary will win but I think it might be closer than many had hoped.
I still think she'll win by a margin similar to Obama's in 2012, if not better. I also think she'll end up with at least 330 electoral votes.

I really do hope you're right but I'm surprised after pussy-gate, his racist comments, his misogyny, his lack of experience, his cavalier approach to the nuclear deterrent, etc, that Trump is doing as well as he is in the polls for states that Obama won last time. I would have expected Hillary to be have significant leads in Florida and Ohio and not leads within the margin of error of the polls. Your comment about the turnout is a valid one and the Democrat ground game is strong and they are more likely to get out their vote than the Republicans so I agree the final result could be much better than the polls indicate.

Yes but why is aren't states like Florida and Ohio strongly leaning to Hillary instead of being toss ups? That is what's surprising.

This is a really good point. Trump is having to spend time and resources to ensure that he wins states that would normally be bankers for the GOP really does highlight what a truly awful candidate he is.

Maybe because they have more than their fair share of irrational people? lol Plus, Florida has the added burden of not being able to get anything right, as demonstrated by the 2000 election.

Former Miss Finland is 12th woman to accuse Donald Trump of sexual assault
Ninni Laaksonen, a former Miss Finland in the Miss Universe competition that Trump once owned, alleged that he ‘grabbed my butt’ during a photo shoot.
  • A former beauty queen has become the 12th woman to openly accuse Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump of sexual assault.
  • Ninni Laaksonen, a former Miss Finland in the Miss Universe competition that Trump once owned, alleged in an interview with the Finnish newspaper Ilta-Sanomat that Trump groped her before an appearance on The Late Show with David Letterman in 2006.
  • Trump’s campaign has denied the previous 11 allegations of sexual assault and further examples of sexual impropriety leveled against the candidate.

They said they were “dumbfounded” by the revelation that the new FBI review may have been spurred by a separate investigation into Anthony Weiner sending lewd texts to a minor. Weiner is separated from wife Huma Abedin, one of Clinton’s closest aides.

And they worried that Clinton’s unconventional email arrangement had finally caught up to her and might imperil her presidential bid less than two weeks before Election Day.

“I'm livid, actually,” one Clinton surrogate told The Hill. “This has turned into malpractice. It's an unforced error at this point. I have no idea what Comey is up to but the idea this email issue is popping back up again is outrageous. It never should have occurred in the first place. Someone somewhere should have told her no. And they didn't and now we're all paying the price.”
