Black men got the right to vote at least 50 years before women did...if that tells you anything.
And the DNC conspired to have a woman as their nominee...if that tells you anything. Not to mention the fact that she's consistently polled higher than Trump.
No, Trump's base isn't capable of rational thought. They would (obviously) vote for the Antichrist if he had an (R) after his name on the ballot. Therefore, it must be mostly independent males.
Any time a woman has her detractors, people automatically cry sexism. It's become a convenient device to shut down any criticism of a woman, be it legitimate or not.
Are there men who refuse to vote for a woman? Of course. Is that the main reason why independent, progressive, and moderate men wouldn't vote for Hillary? So far, all I've heard are assumptions.
Your guess is as good as mine, but I assume so since that's apparently where the vast majority of Hillary's substantially higher than usual support from women comes from. There must be some reasonable explanation why men in that same demographic aren't nearly as offended by Trump's sexism.
A lot of men are offended by Trump's sexism, and are voting for Jill Stein. That's a bit of nuance Obama seemed to miss.
I need to see numbers before I believe that progressives wouldn't vote for Hillary solely because she's a woman. After all, we're part of an ideological group that's most likely to support women's rights.
Yeah, we might end up with the unprecedented economic prosperity o the last Clinton presidency and then where would we be? lol
That is arguably the best thing to come out of Bill Clinton's Presidency, but it wasn't all sunshine and roses. Criminal justice reform led to mass incarcerations, anti-gay legislation concerning the military and marriage was passed, as was welfare reform. Hillary supported all of these policies. Hillary is often hailed as a champion of women's rights, but how many poverty stricken mothers were hurt by the gutting of welfare in the 90s?
I don't buy that. What's next? A Kardashian presidency? The sad part is as tacky and embarrassing as that would be, it would be far less dangerous than a Trump presidency. And they're not any less qualified. WTF is wrong with these people?
George Carlin said it best when he said "garbage in, garbage out." Apathy and ignorance is how we end up with our politicians.
Well, if that's true, they seriously underestimated the utter stupidity of a large segment of the American population.
Yes, I think it's fair to say that they overplayed their hand in the pursuit of their desire for power.
The disaster-in-waiting that is Trump is reason enough to be ecstatic about Clinton. If nothing else, saving the republic should be sufficient motivation.
It will still be at somebody else's expense. Most likely civilians in the Middle East. Don't expect the NSA's surveillance of us to stop anytime soon either.
