The FOX reporter admitted the story was wrong. Yet Trump continued to repeat it, and his campaign manager actually said in a TV interview that it didn't matter if the story was a lie "because it's already in the mind of the voter."
So now they're finding the "truth" in their own lies and think it's just fine. And are even publicly saying so, just as long as it sways the election for The Great Pumpkinhead.
The Trump folks are basically admitting publicly that "whatever works" is acceptable, even lies that have been conceded to be lies by the reporters who'd first reported them.

Sadly self-destructive Trump supporters know he won't help them nor fix-and-break The System
The really perverse, twisted, nihilistic thing about it is that those white, workingclass Trump supporters actually know he's not going to help them and that he's not really going to break-and-fix The System.
They really do understand that.
But they're knowingly following him over the cliff in order to be destroyed by The Devil They Know and Relate To (Trump) rather than be possibly helped By The Accused Devil They Feel No Connection to (Clinton).
It's a self-destructive death rattle.
And while the white workingclass has indeed been beaten up over the last couple of decades, their anger has been re-routed to help their oppressors and to target the few people on the political horizon who actually might assist that workingclass... But then, that's an old trick, an old, old story.
But now it's reached a point of critical mass.
They see Trump as an idealized (i.e., rich) version of themselves, so their collective ego is involved with that. They actually realize Hillary is more likely to help them, but they'd rather be killed by "their guy" than helped by "that bitch" they don't relate to.

This is pretty much what Harry Reid did in 2012 on the floor of the Senate when he said Romney had not paid taxes for 10 years and then when approached later about telling the lie about Romney, smirked and said "Well he didn't win did he.
I suppose Kellyanne Conway is just assuring "equality" for all.
No, I'm guessing "they're", whoever "they're" may be, see that it's working for Hillary's campaign and are using the same strategy, so both sides are doing it, so it must be "just fine".

I never said I was wrong. I said both sides do the same thing. In fact Harry Reid did a very similar thing, so don't think for a New York minute that the Democrats don't have their fingerprints all over the same kind of issue. This is not an election year I look forward to, except for it to be over.
If you care about immigrants why support a candidate who will make things much harder for them by adding droves of new immigrants to compete for jobs and resources?
This country is in debt, we need to take care of our own and those who got here first.
When we no longer have vets sleeping in tents, we can talk about ways to vet migrants who are coming from an ideology that promises to destroy us. Until then, let's make things better for this country of immigrants before adding more.

I was in Modesto, CA 3 weeks ago and while stopping at a traffic light, I counted 9 homeless people who had set up sleeping arrangements under a bridge on a 4 lane highway. I don't know if they were vets or people who have fallen on hard times and have no where else to go, but with more and more people immigrating here on a daily basis, it's doubtful these people under the bridge will be sleeping under a roof any time soon.
