I love the soundtrack from this movie and to be honest, i like the end title song from the movie when Alice sleeps in the boot, i listen a lot to it when i go out jogging.

Next weekend i wanne see part 2 and 3 from Friday the 13th. ;)

Our Town (1940)

A long time ago I saw an episode of Head of the Class where the kids put on Our Town as the school play. Since then I've been curious about it but only now have had the opportunity to see the film. The screenplay was co-written by the playwright, Thornton Wilder, and is quite stagey in presentation, with the fourth wall being broken frequently, so I assume it's close to how it was originally produced. As an added bonus it has a young Martha Scott (Dallas's Patricia Shepard) in the lead.

Margi Clarke was brilliant in this underrated gem as was the entire supporting cast. Granted the film is much better in the first half but an enjoyable ride nonetheless.

The Notebook

I wasn't sure where this was going at first, but the pieces slowly fell together until the ending seemed almost predictable.

I watched A Moon in the Shadows which was going rather well until I became totally confused.

Then I watched Hotel Mumbai which was EXCELLENT.

Singin' in the Rain, starring Gene Kelly, Donald O'Connor and Debbie Reynolds.

This is often called the greatest musical of all time but I just don't see it. There are any number of musicals I prefer to this one. Including some of Kelly's own such as On the Town and Brigadoon.
