About 10 years ago, I was at Heathrow Airport with Dear Mama booking her onto her flight.
The line of people was easily 100 long.

A total stranger came up to me and said "haven't seen you in a while ". I just went along with it trying to figure out who he was. He even mentions a 'colleagues' retirement!

Eventually he ask what flight I was booking Dear Mama onto, seeing the length of the queue for the economy section, the man said "come with me and I will get my friend working first class to book her in". No queue and luggage assistance! The man was a total stranger.
