YES. Diana did get on my nerves. She was that little girl that never grew up. Always running to Abby. I am on episode 5. This is when she defends Chip and Lillie Mae runs him downSince I haven't watched but up to like 12 episodes into Season 9, I can only comment on the characters during those nine seasons.
Well, I personally liked Chip, Ciji, and Joshua. Cathy came on strong, but she became rather bland rather fast (to me, anyhow). Aside from her relationship with Joshua (which was actually a favorite storyline of mine), she really didn't do a whole lot. She just sang... and sang some more. They just didn't know what to do with her anymore... she was long out of the picture (sort of) before she was ever really gone.
Chip did get a little on my nerves, I will admit that.
The one I absolutely could not stand was Diana! No matter who she was involved with or what she said or did, I didn't like her. She was on my nerves before I ever finished Season 1... and to think I had to put up with her till Season 6!![]()

Yes. I can't wait to get home and watch that Part.Oh, I remember that scene quite clearly. Oh, how I love Lillimae.

Lilimae, I guess. I thought she was overutilized for a while. But then they went in the opposite direction and completely got rid of her. I wonder why she didn't return as recurring instead of Betsy Palmer as Aunt Ginny? Clearly she served the same purpose.
Yes, it felt like waiting for that story to be wrapped up. I think that Knots (unlike some other soaps) always wanted to do it the "proper" way, and I applaud them for not making things too easy or convenient. But sometimes it's not as entertaining as it should be.Jill Bennett
