Southfork Floor Plan

Lair!!! I love it!

Where’s the attic though?

Well it's in the roof area obviously.

Haven't you figured that out yet!!

Is it your design? No it’s Markys attic!!! @Snarky Oracle

[Spooky Owl!]

Well, technically, I would agree it's in the roof area. Of course, Sue Ellen would need windows to peer out of, and there aren't any, but when did that ever stop them??

I will pay for her windows.

It's not Marky's attic.

Southfork belongs to the Ewing's.

I've a good mind to ring Bobby and tell him members are bickering on this thread about the inside configuration of the house!

That’s what you think.

Why do you think we never got to see inside the attic??

Well they obviously kept Victoria Principal and Donna Reed up there!

That's why!!

Of course silly me. :llooll:This has all the makings of another wonderful episode!!!

Why don't we take a break from calculating the complex geometry of the second floor and ponder something simpler: the front door.

Ah yes the beautiful but rarely used door.

Yes, they didn't match, did they?

Originally in Conundrum Miss Ellie and Pam along with Clayton would've returned.

However they lost the key to the attic and couldn't get Barbara Bel Geddes, Donna Reed & Victoria Principal out!!

For some reason they only had the women up there, it might've had something to do with Leonard Katzman I don't know!!

There was also a clash between Reed & Bel Geddes! Barbara wanted to enter first but wouldn't do it despite Reed insisting as she was the first Miss Ellie!

In the script before Bobby entered, Pam would've entered with both Miss Ellies, JR would've taken a long look at both Miss Ellies and said "Oh my god! Momma!" Before shooting himself!! Lorimar quite wisely decided not to use this as the final scene and used Patrick Duffy as Bobby instead!!

Ellie must have had a doormat like this one:

From one of BBGs porns, which is why she missed Season 8 (per DVD count).

[Sarah]

I can understand in real world that door not being used given the layout/grass etc distance from car parking but it cracks me up when people did arrive at the front and walk round - oh I have an idea!!!

Steven Carrington had one at his home on Dynasty!!

I've heard Katzman locked her in the attic so they could negotiate her salary for coming back!!

Of course maybe there's a telly and VCR up there so who knows what they were watching!! Dynasty or The Colbys maybe!

I thought the unaired scene (I don't know why they didn't include it on the DVDs) has Donna Reed Ellie going to the attic looking for Clayton only to find Barbara Bel Geddes Ellie is there. BBG looks at DR in shock, she exclaims "you!" right before she grabs DR and slams her into the wall. The two tussle on the floor and get back up when BBG says "I'll kill you". Then the real catfight begins.
