I just hope The CW has a heart and they will expand the opening credits time now for some more seconds.
I want to see Nicollette in there and maybe the actresses of Claudia and Monica as well ... there is an extended version of the openig theme already:

I think Nicollette is perfect to bring that sense of the outrageous to the show in the same way that Joan did. And she looks amazing so I'd say she'll rock anything they give her to wear.

This casting is great news. I'll definitely be watching again when she arrives. Of all of the names that were mentioned, Nicollette was my favourite, even though I liked the idea of Alexis not being American.

They say that's what works. Leave yourself no mental option.

As I always say, Joan and Linda slept with their first husbands' photos over their beds for years. Worked out well for Linda, not so great for Joan. But it worked.

I obsessed over a guy in a pop group in the early 2000s. Had a picture of him stuck on my bedroom door. When the group were not doing so well a few years later I saw them at a gay pride thing in a local club. I asked for a picture with them and ended up kissing the guy who was on my bedroom door.

I remember Nicolette played Taran Blake in Paper Dolls when it went to series, and Joan Collins played Racine in the TV movie/pilot. Is there some kind of full circle there? The name Blake is in there too. Is it fate?

I have nothing against Nicolette because I thought she was good in Desperate Housewives but I don't picture her as Alexis. This decision won't entice me to subscribe to Netflix anytime soon but I do hope the other posters enjoy the ride. I await your posts as I do enjoy reading the critiques.

This casting is mute testimony to the fact that no one on the A, B, or CList would do this show. Having Grant Show was bad enough, but NS?

I wonder if the new show will do A Love Remembered. Sheridan has already warmed up for that storyline when her Desperate Housewives character took advantage of an amnesiac to steal him from her mortal enemy.

Nicollette is wonderful with the accents. She used to do a lot of voice over work for animated shows before "Desperate Housewives". Alexis will be on a different level than PVC Ivana. That woman even makes Melania Trump look like royalty. And she calls herself "true first lady". I recommend a psychiatric evaluation.
