Since we are all getting cast on this show now ... I would love to join the ensemble as the real Adam Carrington. Nicollette Sheridan is going to audition me at the privacy of her lovely ranch and then she sends the video to Sallie Patrick for consideration. I can smell the Emmy already! My headshot below.

Oh, and I almost forgot! Adam and Liam are going to become lovers in season 2. But only during the weekends.

OMG, Zoe Lucker would have been a good choice... She nailed her role of the quite vulgar footballer's wife Tanya Turner. She can play a convincing "manipulating bitch/hungry for power/with a bit of a dark side"

fun fact : her character shared a lot of screen time Joan Collin's character on the show

Elizabeth Hurley is also a good choice. She's pretty. She actually looks like a bit like Fallon (much more than Nicolette). She has the right age, and yet, looks younger than Nicolette : this would be coherent with everything Adam said in the latest episode.

Wouldn't have made any difference whatsoever.
Fallon is NuDynasty's Leading Lady (like Alexis was on original Dynasty) and it's obvious to me that they won't let any character upstage their #1.
There was nothing that Nicolette Sheridan could have done to improve her character simply because they wouldn't allow her to.

To be honest I don't mind all these character alterations, it's what makes the show fresh and unpredictable.
But I could have done without all the clown-y stuff that they copied from Desperate Housewives (although it worked better on DH, well most of it anyway).

For me, the main problem wasn't Nicolette. The problem was Alexis' writing, especially in season 2.

In season 1, Alexis had a plan, a purpose. In season 2 she said she felt directionless. And that was true. It wasn't Nicolette Sheridan's fault, of course. A least, not intentionally. But it seems the writers were more inspired by her Desperate Housewives character than the original Alexis.

Of course, the (soon to be) new Alexis won't change the game. But maybe the writers won't write her like an Edie Britt 2.0

At least I hope they will cast an actress that looks pretty. We need to buy that Alexis can be a challenge to Cristal (from a seduction standpoint)
That might be vain, but a least, if they can't write her right, she should look right ;)
