I would have loved to see Delta on the show (especially during the great seasons--so before the dream season) as any character. Would be interested to see how she would interact with JR or Bobby.

I mean, I guess I never understood how Dack Rambo made the opening credits, but Brittany, Landers, Shelton, Beck, and Harrison (all of who had more scenes and plot important never did.

Rambo made them include him in the titles using a clause in his contract, I seem to remember. Jack was a family member and only Priscilla had that privilege before. Ironicly, or not, he was soon axed with agreement between both parts. We all know he was feeling discriminated by Larry, true or not. Not a Donna Reed scenario but almost.

Steve Kanaly appeared in "Walker: Texas Ranger" ,"Widow Maker" (1999). He had as scene with Sherry J Wilson. I don't recall Ray and April ever sharing a scene in "Dallas"

I saw him in a western fairly recently that was from a good 15-20 years before his Dallas appearance. He already looked about the same as on Dallas, and would have been in his 50s. That governor job will age you!

Watching the range war in season 13 and really annoyed at the scene where Ellie tells Sue Ellen that JR sent John Ross away for safety and Ellie agreed with him.
I mean really, you think John Ross is in danger but don't bother to call his MOTHER, who happens to have legal custody of him? And didn't it ever cross Ellie's mind that the last time JR hid John Ross from Sue Ellen, she ended up shooting the bastard? If I had been SE I probably would have smacked Miss Ellie - and when John Ross got back I would have immediately removed him from Southfork. Obviously, she couldn't trust the Ewings not to steal and hide her son.

Random thought - all of the Ewings had telephones in their bedrooms. Why are they always having very private phone conversations in the kitchen, the study, and the foyer where anyone can walk in and overhear? Especially Sue Ellen. I mean good Lord, can you talk to your lovers privately? She's loving up to Dusty and Cliff right where anyone can hear. Crazy to me.

Watched a few scenes from the last season on YouTube today. Man, JR and Cliff aged poorly. I know they were in their 60s, but still...Clayton actually looked younger than the two of them.

I think I notice it the worse with Cliff. J.R..yes, the hair(or toupee) turned gray, but he didn't really look bad to me..at least, not during the original series. I'm not saying Cliff looked bad, but he seemed to age the fastest, and yes, at times looked a little rough. Clayton really didn't age that much from the time he joined till the end, and that was a long duration, but he was also a little older when we encountered him on Dallas, which I guess can either be good or bad..meaning, we were used to seeing an older man from the start. Outside of Larry's occasional red eyes. I don't really notice anything too drastic with Hagman.
