Dallas News Dallas Reunion on Hollywood Show in Burbank 1-2 March

Thanks for sharing @Toni
Seems like a fairly recent interview. I like how he said that they sort of killed Pam off on Dallas TNT but that he was sure that some creative writer could find a way to bring her back if they wanted to. It's sort of like he opened the door for a Bobby & Pam reunion. We all know it's not going to happen. But I think he's aware of that the fans loved Bobby and Pam and that a lot of people wanted Pam to come back on Dallas TNT. So he seems open to the idea.

Each to their own but podcasters like this frustrate me when they fawn over their subject matter. Oh please, TNT Dallas might have been rating No.2 but in the broader sense it was a failure...hence the cancellation. The pilot episode showed some initial promise and to good ratings but the following week those same eyeballs had dropped by half. In this industry numbers always tell the truth no matter how much of a spin you try to put on it.

And why does Patrick defend that showrunner? Just because you think the script was the best you've seen and here - finally - is someone who gets Dallas doesn't always translate to television gold.

Sometimes a cold, hard reality check is in high order. I need a Panadol and good lie down after watching that little gem of an interview.
so glad its not just me @Rove

I have worshipped at the feet of Mr Duffy since I was young, then alsong came TNT and he infuriated the life out of me with his brown nosing (for want of a better word) of Crappy clueless Cidre, his defence of her and his critcisms of original Dallas - It put me off him and i jumped ship onto team Hagman who was the only one worth watching and when he died, so should have her Dallas - I still wish TNT had never been made as it was awful - majority of cast, storylines, acting inc Mr D and the rewriting of Dallas history
Totally agree re Podcasters also, they make me squirm with their sycophantic luvvie dom of the stars.:tv:

Im not a fan of Podcasts re Dallas and all their "crawling" (bit like Duffy on CC ;) )

The only interviews i do or did like were Roys for @Garry Fanzine - they were really well thought out, sensible questions that you would want to ask and he didnt crawl

@Karin, check out the rest of the interview with Patrick by the same guy, go to his homepage, he´s also interviewed Morgan Brittany, who said a lot of interesting things (most of them known by all her fans but...).

This is Victoria when was told by a friend that Patrick quote:

"Over my (and Pam´s) dead body!!"

Edit to add that Prissy Presley will attend the convention too!

What a cheek that Patrick Duffy charging $5 more than Linda for a photo o_O
$40 for an autograph!

Well if I didn't already have Linda's, I'd pay anything obviously.
I hope they stay for the duration, they didn't last June and left some fans disappointed.

Nude pic of Peeeddurrrr?
I think I prefer to remember him in his speedos.

Who?

Rumors say that someone very "loved" is behind this Hollywood Show...

Seriously I think the people who are organizing the Hollywood Show have been very successful at booking Dallas cast to their show. This is going to be the biggest reunion since the show went off the air! :bravo1:

Just a pity the Dallas cast won't do group photos with fans.

Also I think some of the less known actors are overcharging for their autographed photos. It doesn't make sense that you have to pay more for Lindsay Bloom's autograph than for Charlene's. o_O

Also Barbara Stock, Rosalind Allen, and Jack Scalia are the same price as Charlene's too. (35 dollars) I think more people would buy them if they were like 10-15 dollars.

Humph!

She's about as loved as wet cement!

Somehow I don't think she's had anything to do with this latest Dallas reunion. :)

The ways of Cidre are mysterious...

"And in Season 4 I was going to bring back all the most
fascinating characters from TPS, like Charlie, Darius
and all the porcelain dogs!"

more for Lindsay Bloom's autograph than for Charlene's.
I was going to say Who? but I obviously know who she is. That's outrageous she can charge more than Charlene.
Even some of the others at the same price is damn cheeky.

As you point out it's the biggest gathering of the Dallas cast and in Burbank too. It'll be a wonderful experience to be part of. I'll be excited to see pictures when they emerge.

But are certainly not delicious! ;)

Another rumor (from Miss Piggy´s devious mind): Cidre has hired Margaret Michaels to attend the convention and pose as Pam wearing a big hat in half-lit stand. Will anyone buy it?

PS: Joke or not, la Michaels had more specific weight on "Dallas" than Lisa Alden, the girls from "Conundrum" or Tracy Scoggins playing Serena´s "partner in sluttiness" in a couple of scenes.

I've somehow managed a brilliant coup for the forthcoming Dallas reunion! Fingers crossed he doesn't change his mind!

Pending full confirmation of his attendance unpaid Executive Story Consultant on the TNT Dallas series, international super star and Warner Bros. favourite Daffy Duck is believed to be attending the reunion!

Many of you will have pressing and searching questions for him. Including his toxic relationship with Cynthia Cidre behind the scenes where he reportedly told her "Kiss my little back butt, Cidre!" as she attempted to get storylines out of him!

Credit where it's due, that's some reunion they have managed. I would be there in a heart beat if I could but alas I have assigned myself to the fact I'll never get to meet any Dallas actors.
