Dallas News Dallas Reunion on Hollywood Show in Burbank 1-2 March

To say the cast were overwhelmed by the weekend is an understatement. The Dallas love was out in full force.
My goodness. Larry Hagman would have relished this reunion. I really hope someone will organise an even bigger one for those surviving Dallas cast for the upcoming 50th Anniversary. I'd also like to see some love from Warner Bros and lean on Victoria to front up for it.

Thank you @Garry for posting more pics. When I see them on fanzine I say to myself I hope you'll put them here.

Love the photo of Linda and Fern!
If only they would read this forum, well some threads anyway!

When I met Linda I told her about us here........mind you she did look at me as though I was a bit crazy, so they'd probably think we're all mad.
Here's to madness!

Looks like the event was a great gathering and those photos are class.

Jock is coming home from South America and the family are celebrating his return to Dallas, with their annual barbecue. All Jock's friends are attending and big guns in the oil business, (a scene from season 4; DVD-5, 1981 - '82):

Ellie takes a phone call. The news isn't good, about the Ewing patriarch. J.R. is standing on the stairs and looks down at his distraught mother, clutching the phone.

J.R.: "Mama!"

Ellie: "That was Punk. Jock was flying in from the interior by helicopter. It crashed. They've been ...... they've been searching all day. Nothing! The locals have given up."

Ellie in complete water works mode (the poor woman): "They say that ...... oh they say that ...... they say that Jock is dead!"

The frame freezes on Ellie; then fade to black, the closing credits commence and the theme tune blasts out.

In the next episode the search is on for John Ross Ewing Senior, better known as Jock.

Nice to see Jock was there in spirit. I'm a massive fan of the character played by both Jim Davis and Steve Forrest.

Was he really alive all along and was that really him who came back to be with his family.....!?!

Nothing wrong with being mad, I've been completely loopy for years now.

The important thing is to celebrate one of the greatest TV shows of all time.

Here's to DALLAS. :)

I didn't realise it was such a huge event with many other stars present. $20 for every 6 words and $80 for a selfie with Priscilla and all that queuing!
Wonder what the entrance fee was. Plenty of tat for sale too. I did think about going but I'm not sorry I decided not to now. I've been too spoilt!

Man, Josh Henderson really let himself go. :(
If that's an example of someone who's let himself go, there's no hope.
Can't see that myself, different tastes I guess.

Thanks for sharing those photos @Garry and also for the video @Michelle Stevens :)
It was very interesting to watch it. Kinda funny seeing that dude standing out in the rain waiting for the stars to arrive and not recognizing anyone.
He was really there for Priscilla. It was quite a queue she had at her table. But yes you get to see a lot of the other Dallas stars in this video too. So it's worth a watch. It seems like the event was rather busy with lots of fans attending.

Also @LMLDallas78 I think the entrance fee was 40 dollars for both days and the parking was 18 dollars/day. So it would cost approximately 80 dollars for two days.

Okay so here's the official video from the panel at the Hollywood Show.

It's filmed by Josh Eilberg, who is one of the admins of Ultimate Dallas on facebook. He used to post on the original soapchat board many years ago. I think his screen name was The Prodigal Son. Thank you Josh!

Great picture. Deborah Rennard and Priscilla Presley don't look too happy to be there, lol.

Their surgeons probably told them not to show emotions in public...just in case. :NI:

Josh still looks .pretty darn good. Sasha Mitchell is the one who has really let himself go.
Among all of them, I´d only ask Joshua Harris for a date. Who would have said that...:spinning:

Right I see thankyou. I was just interested in how much this would potentially cost compared to my experience. All these events vary and this was obviously a very big occasion with numerous Dallas cast members. It did look somewhat regimented though due to it being such a large event.

I'm sure the fans that attended had a great time.

Just realised I've duplicated the photo I posted of Linda and Fern, didn't see the earlier one posted by @Garry
Oh well, they're worth it.

Surely a few wrinkles on the faces of Sue Ellen and Marilee are better than the smooth but strange faces like those of Valene, Jamie or Jenna.
Definitely. Linda and Fern looking really good. They should be proud!

A fairly good Q&A. I'm not in the least bit surprised a good chunk of it was devoted to 'Swan Song'. Not only was this season 7 (DVD-8) episode the last time all the panellists were in the same show (as Bill said) but it was imho the second best cliffhanger, after 'A House Divided' when J.R. initially got the bullet.

The iconic opening credits and theme tune modernised, for the noughties.

The remaining core cast pose, for the retrospective reunion 'The Return To Southfork' (2004).

The family are burying J.R., the show’s most famous character. Sue Ellen reads a letter from him. He wrote this letter, while he was in Mexico, (a scene from TNT season 2, 2013):

“My dearest Sue Ellen old age as a way of humbling men. For me to apologize now for all the wrongs I’ve done you would take up all the time I have left. So I’m hoping that it will suffice for me to say that I was never worthy of you, that I loved you the moment I saw you and that I love you today more than I ever did. It is my greatest hope in life to earn a second chance with you. So what do you say when I get back to Dallas will you have dinner with me?”

Sue Ellen sobbing away, “Yes, yes J.R., the answer is yes!” She goes over to the stars and stripes draped casket, kisses it and declares, “You were the love of my life.”

Bobby consoles the once upon a time Miss Texas.
