Pam is a nitwit to blame Bobby and the Ewings for her mother’s death

LOL. What I've said is reality. Nothing gets distributed without delivery drivers and pilots, and none of those workers are rich. J.R. Ewing piles up unearned dollars, and lectures Pam.
It is still financed by business owners, banks, loaning groups and billionaires.
Your arguments are specious and just plain wrong
JR's income is not unearned. He is the President/Co-Owner of Ewing Oil,
and he is responsible to see that the business is a going concern
and that people are compensated
And JR had every right to "lecture" Pam

What do you think that wealth is? It's wealth created by workers that wasn't paid to them.

You seem to have a fundamental misunderstanding of the business world.
Socialism, by it very definition, does not create individual wealth,
or even necessarily a reasonable standard of living.
That is why there is an exodus of people to capitalist economies.
Workers are not taking an economic risk
The business owner must be responsible for financing, permits, conformity with regulations,
meeting payroll and taxes, with no guarantee of a profit.
It is not as easy as you seem to think
Business Owners and workers need each other
If you can't understand that. It is sad
Venezuela nationalized the Oil industry.
The people are not exactly thriving
with extreme poverty rising to 76.6% according to this Reuters article

You are getting very worked up about this on a soap forum ;)
No more so than you. Because you are failing to acknowledge economic realities and you see only one(wrong) viewpoint, not facts

Explain Venezuela's poverty, since, according to you,
socialist ownership of the oil industry is better

Hugo Chavez was brilliant for Venezuela. Poverty drastically reduced, literacy up, healthcare up, wages up etc. The billionaire profiteers didn't like that, of course.

Did you read the article?
76.6% in extreme poverty according to Reuters, a highly reliable source.

Your interpretation is completely wrong, and not supported by any reasonable real world facts
Poverty increased in skyrocketing numbers

Vox has detailed Venezuela's economic downfall

As well as this source

I know what I'm talking about. Hugo Chavez died in 2013, by the way.

And what is "economic downfall"? For the richest billionaires? Boo, hoo. What about US sanctions on Venezuela? Venezuela before Chavez had massive inequality, high illiteracy, basically a rich person's fiefdom. The Venezuelan opposition even fell out in the last decade because a section of the opposition were basically begging for a US invasion of the country, while the other half were like "Venezuela first" types.

Cuba before Castro had more than half the population illiterate. Now it's close to 0%. Cuba has healthcare, education and housing for all (unlike their northern neighbour the USA), and Cuba has a higher life expectancy than the US. All that despite an economic embargo on Cuba by the US since 1962. The US put a pillow to Cuba's mouth and then say "Oh look, socialism doesn't work".

Clearly you haven't read the articles. you are making straw man arguments, and you are ignoring facts and history,
and no, you do not display a knowledge of the facts, history and impact of the economic policies
And if it was such a paradise, sanctions would have very little effect.
Or are you saying that Venezuela relies on capitalist economies LOL!
Economic downfall - a country with a 76.6% rate of extreme poverty after once having a well-to-do economy

It is unbelievable how some people ignore actual facts

Venezuela is still a capitalist economy, and was so even under Chavez. The vast majority of the Venezuelan media never stopped whining about Chavez throughout his entire presidency.

Poverty was drastically DOWN under Chavez. People saw doctors for the first time in their lives, had decent housing, better wages etc. Billionaires wanted that money to go to themselves instead while people suffered and died in misery, and lived in the barrio slums.

It is unbelievable how some people ignore actual facts
Like embargoed Cuba having a higher life expectancy than the US, along with a right to housing, education and healthcare, all less than 90 miles from the US mainland? Oh, and how many US presidents did Fidel Castro outlive?

FromBerkley Political Review:

No matter how you analyze the situation, one thing is clear: socialism is the root cause and the main driver of the tragic fall of a country that once championed democracy and prosperity. Venezuela’s failed socialist experiment serves as a reminder for the United States, where support for socialism has noticeably increased in recent years. The crisis that is on display in the South American nation highlights why socialism is a threat to the freedom that we all deserve.

Why would I care about what capitalists think about socialism? The US is the most oppressive and brutal foreign policy in the world.

You continue to make irrelevant, straw man, specious arguments.

For starters, the US is not a dictatorship, so that argument is ridiculous - apples to oranges
If you think Cubans are better educated in their universities than America or Europe -- Good Luck
BTW you provide no verification for your claims.

I have more important things to do than to continue to obliterate
your agenda driven falsehoods with more and more facts.

Of course Cubans are better educated. LOL. Near zero illiteracy says it all.

And the US is a dictatorship in the sense that big business capitalism rules, unconditionally. Nobody without millions and millions of $$$$$ behind them is getting any serious political power. And about half of Americans are living pay cheque to pay cheque. No democracy there, but a charade.

I have more important things to do than to continue to obliterate

A bit late for you to complain now. I said earlier that this forum was not really the place for this political stuff, and you carried on regardless.

Workers create all the wealth. That's reality. Nothing moves without delivery drivers, again reality. So why are billionaires taking all the wealth for themselves?
