But that´s the way I get it when I hear it. It´s like the Flores family on WC Die-nasty. Would you really like a character called "Crystal Flowers"? Because that´s the translation into English...Besides, there´s a very famous family of flamenco singers in Spain with that last name, Flores...Go figure...

Don´t worry, it´s ok. I wonder if English speakers know how names like Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jake Gyllenhaal, or the infamous Matthew McConaughey sound like in other markets, eg the Latin-American and Spanish ones. Hard to pronounce, impossible to write.

Just for the record, this was also the name of a very OTT (like all of them...) South American telenovela back in the 80s, "Cristal". I think it was aired in the mornings, replacing "Dynasty" ("yes, this was used as a filler in Spain..." - Miss Piggy says...). Watch (if you dare) a little sample of that "Cristal" thing...
