I imagine sometime in June or July we will hear an announcement of the new Alexis (should I say the latest Alexis) being cast. Other than maybe Jeff and/or Michael, I'm assuming all the other characters will remain in the mix next season, so no major firing announcements.
They won't likely resume filming until July, so there might be some stray social media posts from the actors on set. We will of course pore over the photos for every detail like we used to analyze Kremlin photos in the 1970s.
I expect by August this forum will be deader than Trixie Tate.

I'm picking back up with my Melrose Place rewatch (http://soapchat.net/threads/rewatching-melrose-place.5197/). I have no intention on rewatching the second season on Netflix like I did after the first season.

Oooh, I look forward to this. How far along are you?
NuDunasty is fun, sometimes is quite good. But not good or clever enough to justify watching it a second time. (Except for a few episodes, that I watched twice already). So big no, I don't plan to rewatch season 2.
Plus, there are so many other show to watch...

The only thing that can keep me as absorbed as peach Dynasty did is to start placing bets on which side of my facial hair will grow faster, and then closely watch the race.

It might be different if the producers had a habit of dropping little hints/clues in their scripts that would not seem important at the time, but ends up being a big deal later on. This is usually something done when stories are mapped out well in advance, though, and I don't think they're into that.

Well....let's see...who is Trixie, I mean, how important is she going to be? How can it be linked to any of the original Dynasty stories?
And since Roger Grimes' body had everything to do with the Nazi treasure, I had hoped that the divers would discover something equally important. Not another Nazi treasure, but maybe a portal to the fourth dimension which allows them to go back to previous episodes and change the outcome of the storylines.

I’m Dynasty loyal. What can I say? I sat through the good bad and ugly in the 80s. I have to say I’m so relieved this s***fest on the CW is over until the end of the year. I watched TNT Dallas because I loved the CBS version, but that was high art compared to this. With Dynasty on CW, it got to the point where I was watching in half hour blocks after recording it because it was so excruciating to watch whole. I’m glad it’s off the air now. I hate watch the show if there’s such a thing. Masochistic viewing.

Well I was rather annoyed Bo did not make an appearance in the final episode. Is it possible to stretch out this thread about all things Bo until the CW Dynasty returns? Personally I'd like to see Alexis 3.0 return with a black cat she rescued from the streets of Europe while recovering from her plastic surgery. I hope the producers go for an actress that has a classic look. Someone with traits of original Alexis...someone like this....

That's exactly what I meant when I said that my ideas or Alexi's return are far planned in advance. All little details I wrote all make sense when the puzzle is complete. Something jaw dropping that should make people to want to watch episodes again. A twist, within a twist, within a twist. Something that will also give purpose to Cristal2.0 and will make her relevant and coherent with her almost schizophrenic traits so far, (is she sweet like early season 2 ? Is she manipulative ?) and will pull them together to actually make sense.
I t would require to shoot some sequences with some extra dialogue in early season 3 that won't make the cut for exemple at first. But will be used by the end of the season, in a totally different context. But it will be totally coherent.
I know that what I say is totally abstract now... Maybe I will "publish" here my pitch, when Alexis3.0 will arrive in NuDynasty season 3 (hopefully) and when season 3 is done. . People maybe can't or won't value my work, and I'm fine with it, but I value it myself. So I am not giving it away. At least, not now.
I'm sorry if I seem to be pretentious, or vain, or whatever.

Watching episode 8 as we speak.
After that I'll start with the 3rd season of the church soap GREENLEAF and the fabulous mini-series ASPEN (1977) and BLOOD & ORCHIDS (1986).
And after that it's time for the seventies soap THE BROTHERS, and during all this there's the DALLAS re-watch running in the background, as it were.
Plus the occasional episode of THRILLER and TWILIGHT ZONE.
And then there's still the CAGNEY & LACEY, L.A. LAW, FOOTBALLER'S WIVES and BATMAN dvd box sets to watch.
So, it's not like there's absolutely nothing to do
