Donna Summer - Summer Time: The singles Collection 1974-2010 (40 cd-singles)

Congratulations, @Payton Cross. A huge musical investment.

I hadn't heard about this set. It looks great, and there are some tracks I don't have so I'll keep this one on my radar too.

Thanks @Mel O'Drama, yes it was certainly a big investment to get this boxset i didn't knew about this boxset either untill i saw a picture on a music forum, but it was definitely worth it. I have heard singles and extended versions on this boxset that I had never heard before, but I am not even halfway through and haven't been able to listen to everything yet. So far, the sound quality is certainly good.

But there are a total of 72 singles, each CD contains two different singles, only the last eight are one-sided singles. So in my opinion, a very complete boxset.

Unfortunately, I haven't managed to upload my own photos, somehow my PC doesn't recognize my mobile USB data, but I am still working on it because I have bought more CDs and vinyl records recently snd last year. ;)

But i hope you find a way to purchase this boxset too, it's a great boxset and a nice booklet with many information.

Maureen McGovern is known for her soundtrack songs The Morning After and We May Never Love Like This Again but is otherwise greatly underrated IMO. The 4 LPS on 2 CDS line appears to be literally true because I think I heard some surface noise and pops. Could be a needle drop recording but still sounds pretty good.
