It's the rivalry among the siblings from a dysfunctional rich family in Succession and the cowboy & nature setting plus an alcoholic also in a dysfunctional rich family as the most interesting character in Yellowstone where I see why the comparisons are made. But I gave up on both series after their first seasons. Not bad shows I admit but there were no characters I could root for.
