Dallas, Episode 4! Here we go:
Personally, I never really liked opening credits that go in alphabetical order. I think Dynasty did it right in having the main cast introduced in order of importance.
Camille Marchetta?! 0_0
JR with another floozy? Sure got over Julie fast.
Those nasty orange curtains...
"Bye, Wanda." Pats her like a dog. Oh my gosh... XD I'm almost surprised he patted her on the back and not on the butt.
The snow falling is beautiful...
Uh oh, those two guys from the previews are here.
HAH! They go to the wrong door at first; the little guy grabs the innocent guy and roughs him up a bit before being told, "Wrong door", and next thing you know, "Hey man, sorry."
Heh heh, I can't help but imagine the two guys are wondering if there's a lesbian affair going on. XD
Oh JR, you leave a "calling card" with your name and everything? Holy crap, and it was *right* where you were looking earlier! Dumb-dumb... What a contrived plotline coming up...
Radio talking about a hurricane... oh yeah, its that episode...
Poor Miss Ellie is sick. Nice to see Sue Ellen taking care of her, and keeping her company. X)
Miss Ellie wants to make Pam feel more at home, but Sue Ellen doesn't seem too keen.
Sweet phonecall between Bobby and Pam.
Interesting to see just a tiny bit more interaction between Sue Ellen and Pam, even if its only a couple of lines. Somehow I'm beginning to see these two as Fallon and Amanda: two girls I'd like to see interact more.
Lucy's home early. At first it seems like she's back to her school-skipping ways, but she says they were let out on account of the storm. Feasible enough, though something about her initial reaction to Pam's inquiry makes me wonder... oh well.
Wow. Kinda nice seeing Sue Ellen take charge like that, making preperations for the storm like that.
HAH! Pam spanked Lucy! (Sort of, anyway, hahaha.)
Jock and Bobby are going to have lunch with clients or someone important. Doesn't matter who; it just means they're not going to be home with the women-folk when those two hillbillies barge in.
Ewww, so these guys are just going to go in and rape the women at JR's house? I hope they *die*. ...Course then again, they didn't say they were going to rape them... still, though...
Ray and JR are home now.
"Why didn't you call me last night?"
"I was workin' late."
Sure, Jr. Sure.
Sue Ellen's face mirror's my above comment before she asks why he didn't call her this morning.
The two rednecks have shown up on the front porch, asking to use the phone. Sue Ellen, like a gracious lady, allows them in. Poor thing...
Suddenly I'm reminded of "The Big Valley." This whole scenario reminds me of something that would happen on "The Big Valley"! ^^
Lucy seems to be taken with the younger redneck. She even remembers that his name is "Alan." XD
Lucy and the younger redneck (Peyton Alan, was it?) are playing with matches. Shameful.
Wow. That fire started up quick.
"Its the feast of San Antonio. Everybody has the day off."
Didn't know that was a holiday... or that such a feast existed. ^^ Course I'm not from Texas, so...
Of course we get a shot of Lucy bending over before she exits the room. XD
Beautiful Pam makes her entrance. She truly is a vision.
Oh yeah, the older hillbilly's name is Frick! XD And he looks *very* impressed with Pam. ^^
JR's new secretary is a brunette.
Bobby has decided to call home; he's talking to JR now; Bobby wants to come home but JR advises against it; Bobby points out the help are gone; JR tells him about the two hillbillies who happened to come by; JR hangs up as Bobby protests. Oh dear...
HAH! Little Lucy goes to help out the Big Strong Men as they take care of the ranch. I just love how small she was next to all of them.
Herding cattle... tying horses to posts... wait, is that how it's done? Is that even safe? ^^ Now they've got a calf in the back of the truck... oh no, they were just tying the horses momentarily so they could mount and then herd all the *other* horses... snooze... Get on with it!
Uh oh, Ray fell off his horse. He's hurt. Not good. ^^
Miss Ellie's up out of bed. She sees them bringing Ray out the window.
Everybody sans Miss Ellie is in the main room. Uh oh, one of the rednecks has locked the front door. They're setting their plan in motion now! And they've got guns. Well, at least they came prepared. Gotta give them that much.
"We ain't no criminals."
(sarcastic) "Right." (Ray gets his cowboy hat knocked off, haha)
The younger hillbilly is really annoying.
"We're here for justice!"
Oh please, you can't just come out and say, "Cuz you boinked my wife, you scumbag!"
The phone's ringing...
Hah, the older hillbilly called Pam "Countess."
Btw, its kinda sweet seeing Lucy hanging onto Pam in this situation. Shows that their relationship really has come a surprisingly long way in such a short amount of time.
Pam is talking on the phone with Bobby now with the hillbilly listening in. Hmm... could Pam trying to be sending signals to Bobby that everything's not alright when she said she and JR were going to sit down and play a game of... what was it? Back-gam-on? ^^ She quickly hangs up, and Bobby seems hurt and confused.
Huh, looks like it worked! Bobby's caught on something is wrong: Pam and JR playing back-gam-on? Please!
So not only Bobby, but Jock are on their way home.
Huh. JR actually looked upset when the younger hillbilly made a grab at Sue Ellen.
Dang it, the younger hillbilly's laugh is *SO* *ANNOYING*. *PLEASE* tell me he's gonna die!
"My wife's name is Wanda."
Ooh. Now it looks like JR and Ray are gonna catch on...
Oh, Sue Ellen's face as the hillbilly slowly reveals how he found his wife...
Ooooh, now the hillbilly has revealed his wife said that JR and Ray raped her and her friend! Ooooh, the plot thickens!
JR's own face... his eyes are watery...
Ooh, I love the quick transitions between the faces of the hillbilly, JR and Sue Ellen.
So what's Sue Ellen got to say? "Hit him." Heh!
EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW, the younger hillbilly just forced a kiss on her! ...or did he lick her? Either way, ewwwwwwwwwwwwwww. This guy has *GOT* to *DIIIIIIIE*...
JR jumps up, he gets bashed over the head. Ray jumps up, wrestles the older hillbilly for his gun! Hillbilly goes for Ray's weakspot: his injured leg.
OH! GO PAM! She's trying to get the gun from the younger hillbilly - ewwww, now he's trying to get fresh with her! Yuck!
I heard Pam say, "I'll kill you!" I hope she does.
Miss Ellie has come downstairs! 0_0 Oh, her poor horrified face...
Uh oh, there's been a car crash and a pile up. Obviously Jock and Bobby have been delayed...
Bobby's determined to get home, I tell you what. ^^
The younger hillbilly has led JR and Ray into the kitchen; he tells JR to find rope. Wow, JR found it pretty quickly. Who keeps rope in a kitchen cabinent?
Hopefully JR does a bad job so Ray can struggle free... and hopefully the hillbilly won't notice.
Even in her current state, Miss Ellie seems well in control of the situation, though her eyes are still filled with horror. And yet there's a certainty that in her voice that the hillbillies will met a *very* bad end if they don't skedaddle. XD
JR's back in the room with the other hillbilly. And they've just discovered Sue Ellen used to be Miss Texas... and we get to see a shot of the photo. Wow. She was a knockout. ^^
Now they're forcing Sue Ellen to go and find her Miss Texas sash.
Pam's going to try and reason with the younger hillbilly.
"You don't believe that rape story, do you?"
"Why not?"
"Cuz I don't think you're that dumb."
*I* do, Pam.
The younger hillbilly says he doesn't care one way or the other. Oh, so he's the brother-in-law of the older hillbilly, and he's going along with the rape story because he knows her husband will kill her for cheating on him. He's still a douche, though.
Oh man, BOTH of these guys have GOT to diiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiieeeeeeeee......
Oh gosh, Lucy...! The younger hillbilly says he's going to choose between Lucy and Pam, and Lucy wastes no time in revealing Pam used to go with Ray before she married Bobby. Way to throw Pam under the bus, Lucy. I understand she's scared, and she doesn't want to get raped, but still... I hope Lucy makes it up to Pam later on.
Pam, however, seems defiant in a "so what?" manner when she confirms this. She's pretty cool. Oh, so now the hillbilly sees Pam as "one of us."
So now Lucy has been selected as the second rape victim. Talk about instant karma.
Older hillbilly and Sue Ellen are back. And the younger hillbilly wins more death points.
They ask Sue Ellen what was her talent for the beauty contest. She says she sang. So they order her to sing, but she's too scared and embarrassed.
JR starts to jump up, but gets a gun pointed at him.
Bobby found the car the hillbillies showed up just outside of Southfork. He looks at the map and realizes their story doesn't check out. And Jock finds JR's card in there. They both realize something bad is going on.
Sue Ellen starts to tearfully sing. The hillbillies force her to remove her coat, revealing her Miss Texas sash and bathing suit. Gotta hand it to Linda Gray in this scene, she did *such* a good job here.
Oh JR, look what your philandering has caused your wife. And to think, this isn't even the typical humiliation a cheated wife goes through!
The hillbillies take so much delight in Sue Ellen's weepy singing. They're sick. Please, someone shoot them.
Ooh, the glare Sue Ellen gives her husband: "YOU did this to me!"
Poor Sue Ellen, I feel bad for ever hating her.

The way she drops the coat, she might as well be naked. She's purely vulnerable and emotional, just... wow.
Older hillbilly rips off her sash and she sinks to her knees, still trying to warble.
Younger hillbilly laughs again - and I want to hit him again.
WHOA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Pam just came out and said the guy's wife wasn't raped at all - and that the younger hillbilly was the one who told them that! 0_0 Where's THIS gonna go?!
The younger hillbilly denies it - but his eyes betray him. The older hillbilly somehow looks even more frightening than before.
Even Miss Ellie needles him. 0_0
Jock and Bobby are pulling up to the house...
Bobby's genre savvy enough to figure they should go in through the back door... where they'll undoubtedly find Ray!
Older hillbilly looks like he's trying to keep himself together...
Younger hillbilly acts like an idiot...
Older hillbilly says they're done.
Younger hillbilly still wants to rape Lucy.
And Pam wins Best Aunt-in-Law Ever Award when she stands up tells him to leave Lucy alone, even after Lucy tried to throw her under the bus earlier.
(smiles seductively) "Peyton. I'll go with you."
Oh EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW, Pam! Ewwwwwwwww! You're too good for him! Just EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!
Younger hillbilly still wants Lucy cuz Pam is "one of our own."
And the older hillbilly doesn't even stop him. Even when he doesn't want "Justice", he's still a jerk.
Bobby jumps between younger hillbilly and yanks Lucy from him, while Jock sucker punches him. GOOD! Finally! (You can be sure I re-watched the punch part a few times

)
JR trips older hillbilly and Bobby punches him. Twice.
"Somebody better call the sheriff before I blast these two slobs."
Like a boss, Jock. X)
Wait, what, Miss Ellie? Did I hear you right? Did you just say that they had to let the hillbillies go? Is that headache of yours' affecting your brain or something?
"Trust me! We can't involve the law!"
Umm... why not? These two guys held your family at gunpoint and tried to rape Sue Ellen and an underage Lucy, all because JR slept with one of their wives... ah, I see now. The scandal.
If I had been Jock, instead of ending my sentence with "I"ll kill you", I would have said "I'll shoot you both in your nethers and watch as you bleed yourself dry."
The two would-be rapists walk out like chastened children... though the older one says he and his wife have got something talkin' to do.
Sue Ellen is still on the floor, whimpering and throwing hate-filled glares at a shame-faced JR.
Miss Ellie has Jock help her put Lucy to bed.
And heh, poor Ray comes limping out of the kitchen, sort've like, "Um, hey, don't forget about me!"
And nobody bothers to help Sue Ellen up off the floor. Though they're probably going to leave her alone with JR...
Haha, oh my gosh, Bobby and Pam just walk past as Ray just hops into the living room...
JR finally kneels down in front of his wife. Sue Ellen raises her head... oh wow, her face...
...Wow. That was intense. Not a single word was spoken, and yet... the way how JR tried to cover his wife up, only for her to reject his gesture... the way how she walks out of the room, and gives Ray this "You knew too" kind of look, before heading out... wow.
I now understand why and how Sue Ellen got to be so popular. Linda Gray was *awesome*.
Now its just Ray and JR; they started this episode with their antics, and look where it got both of them. Oh, now Ray's hopped off, leaving JR all alone...
~~~~~
Great episode! Wow, really intense. Didn't end the way how I wanted it to. I still say the hillbillies - at least the younger one - should have died. But oh well. I'm assuming they don't come back, and if so, then GOOD. I don't ever want to see or hear them again.
Pam continues to be the best thing about this show, though Sue Ellen is gunning for a close second. A *very* close second. Miss Ellie got a moment or two to shine, and Lucy got to be cute in a few scenes, though I'm still mad at her for throwing Pam under the bus like that. But, again, she *was* scared and trying not to get raped, only for her actions to lead almost to just that happening. So she got her punishment, more or less.
Ray and JR didn't really do much in this episode, although its because of their sleeping around is what got the family into so much trouble. Bobby and Jock got to heroes in the end, though neither of them did anything all that spectacular aside from generic last-minute rescuers. But oh well, there's only so much you can do with each character per episode.
So yeah. A real great, intense episode. I agree the hurricane should have been a snowstorm, but other than that... Got nothing more to say. X)
Oh wait, yes I do: just wanted to reiterate what I said earlier about this feeling like something "The Big Valley" would have happen. Very much so. Anybody agree with that, or am I the only one? X)
