Dallas To Get Remastered In HD

It's amazing. Such an "old" product getting the clarity and shine it deserved. I think the fact that I don't really like most TV of the late 80s has a lot to do with the poor picture quality at that time. It was bad for each series individually but it was even more problematic for series about wealth like Dallas or Falcon Crest.

With this unexpected development I can't help but dreaming.
A few years ago they digitally recreated young Carrie Fisher as Princess Leila once again. Each technique will become less expensive and more common over the years. I am just musing about the possibilities in some years or decades. Maybe like editing youtube videos producers or fans will be able to redo scenes/episodes/seasons in their own way.
I'm sure there is a market out there for a "good" Godfather 3 (this time with Robert Duvall) for example. Reading on this forum some really great ideas over the years what could have been done, makes me thinking what could be in store for us.
Sounds implausible and far-fetched sure, but so did the HD treatment a few years ago to me.

The idea of being able make the dream season into Bobby's dream in a coma is getting closer and closer.

Wow, these images look amazing. Like most people, I've only seen the poor quality video versions that were originally broadcast for these seasons and this remastering looks so much better than I expected.

It was totally the wrong way to deal with the aftermath of Pam's departure and mummy debacle was a dig at Victoria Principal.

No it;s not. The original Star Trek series got a wonderful bluray release. There can NOT be a Godfather 3 with Duvall as the character died...
ALL of the Bond films have had one... even the Wizard of Oz, age is meaningless as long as can make money. ..... Where is KNOTS LANDING?????????

But Duffy wanted out, so what were they supposed to do? Recast Bobby as well and then bring the old actor back after a year like with Ellie?

I remember we thought Pam would be recast so it was surprising how they had Pam vanish after just a few episodes. And then when Jordan Lee said he had seen her in the season finale, we again thought a recast was happening. But as it turned out, they were trying to convince Victoria to return. Hagman stated to the press at the time that there would not be a permanent Pam recast in residence at Southfork.

Where is KNOTS LANDING?????
@Garry does Knots remastering depends on the success of remastered Dallas? Or is it already in progress. Please say it is.
Warner are remastering all of their TV back catalogue and that includes Knots Landing.
... and caps from the remastered season 1985-1986?
There is a delay, not sure why.
Is there any pictures or clips from the remastered season 14 yet?
Next week.
