Sounds really exciting, looks as though there are two Christopher Atkins, Yummy!

There are a few there I would love to see, but I feel I could never emulate what I experienced back in June last year.

I can't ever imagine such an event being so wonderfully crazy, intimate and disorganised which meant I was able to have the opportunity I did.

It's so amazing they are doing this still in 2024, all the best to them.

Yeah one with and one without the speedo's!

I want the one without the speedo's! :)

I saw a recent online interview with Christopher Atkins, I never knew he had a drink problem.

Apparently he auditioned for Footloose but had turned up worse for wear and obviously didn't get the part.

He's been through rehab and seems OK now. I hope he's doing well.

So is anyone tempted to go to this one?

Take care,
Best wishes:

I read somewhere that Joan Van Ark is supposed to be there too? But she's not listed here...

Wish Susan Howard, Victoria Principal, John Beck, Debbie Shelton, Priscilla Presley, were listed as I’m sure more people would go, especially if VP were there even only 1 day, they were all key people to the success of show, I’d be on the flight over the pond as im sure @Barbara Fan would be my travel buddy ifvVP was confirmed
;)

yes but sadly dont see her sitting in a hall, selling her photos = Oh but I wish she would
Ive done my travels round the world to see Dallas cast and Im more than happy with my lot, and have got it out of my system, but yes She is the only one Id jump across the pond for now

There is something rather sad about some former "stars" doing it , Ive been to 3 Chillers in NJ and seeing Mickey Rooney as such a frail old man in a wheelchair signing pics - I wanted to remember him as young Mickey Rooney dancing with Judy Garland or Anne Miller etc or seeing former Child stars 60 years on looking nothing like the pics they are selling, it was rather poignant and moving - remembering what they once were, or seeing face lifted stars who have no facial expression in attempt to stay young.

The closer it gets, the clearer I see that there will be some catfights... Please do not let VP go to this, Soap gods, because she could get a heart attack when hearing "Pam, pam, pam, pam..." by the audiences...

On the other side, the Duffster just said in a YT interview that she is more open now than ever to participate in Dallas-related events soooooo....You can dream, can´t you? (Anyway, I can´t go because Miss Piggy has acrophobia...and no, it´s not a STD...)

Though she did THIS but for the money:

Each to their own but podcasters like this frustrate me when they fawn over their subject matter. Oh please, TNT Dallas might have been rating No.2 but in the broader sense it was a failure...hence the cancellation. The pilot episode showed some initial promise and to good ratings but the following week those same eyeballs had dropped by half. In this industry numbers always tell the truth no matter how much of a spin you try to put on it.

And why does Patrick defend that showrunner? Just because you think the script was the best you've seen and here - finally - is someone who gets Dallas doesn't always translate to television gold.

Sometimes a cold, hard reality check is in high order. I need a Panadol and good lie down after watching that little gem of an interview.
