It will come as no surprise that my fav scenes feature Dallas's Emmy and Golden Globe winner Barbara Bel Geddes

1. Mastectomy - scene with Dr danvers explaining all about her surgery and her looking at self in mirror

2. mastectomy part 2 and breaking down with Jock after realising none of her clothes are going to be suitable



3.the Reckoning in court and being questioned about Jocks mental competance and readings parts of his letter out loud



4. s10 brother can you spare a child, in a park with Cliff and a shoebox of memories, they should have acted together so much more



5. s4, the Big ball and Jock Ewing was a great man speech flanked by Bobby and JR



6. S4 Acceptance and crash goes the SF china



7. s6 Eye of the Beholder - and telling Clayton the real reason she called of the wedding



8. S6 The letter - Bobby and Pam in Thanksgiving square and Im letting you go speech (sob!)



9. s11 Miss Ellie finds Clayton as Amys gravesite



10. s8 Winds of Change - Miss Ellie and Pam at the Oil Barons ball and their speeches - for one Momma was back in her rightful place in Dallas and that was just wonderful to see her up on stage and back doing what she could only do, and Pam and VP never looked more beautiful, the most stunning and hottest girl on the planet by the mid 80s

Here's my top 10 favorite scenes (no surprise there, a lot of JR & Sue Ellen) :

1. THAT wonderful scene in New Beginnings.

2. The 'controversial' Black Market Baby scene.

3. JR's speech & tears at the end of John Ewing III.

4. That sweet scene after he got shot & Sue Ellen thinks she may have pulled the trigger.

5. That scene with Sue Ellen at the sanatorium telling Bobby everything (great acting by Linda Gray!!!!).

6. The speech where he got her back in season 5 (and the first 'I love you').

7. JR getting shot!!!!! Because it's an iconic TV scene!!!!!

8. Because it's the answer to the biggest TV cliffhanger of all times!!!!!

9. JR holding John Ross for the first time..."swoon"...

10. First JR scene of the series!!!! In a few seconds, you learned everything you had to know about him (that thigh sqeeze!)...

Poor OME! This one will be one of those polls that take you hours to count up, we will all have such differing scenes.

Almost all of mine, of course, are with Victoria, the most beautiful woman on television.

1. swan song bobby proposes to Pam, simultaneously laughing and crying, as were we

2. bobby dies in the hospital bed

3. Bobby hit by the car, it still looks so effective over 30 years later, that scream, those eyes

4. miss Ellie and Pam at 1985-86 oil barons ball, their exchange and her quip to JR 'see you in the office partner', love it wish more came of it but great scene

5. Mark returns And pam faints into his arms and laughs and cries again. So beautiful and romantic!!

6. JR announces at the 83-84 ball that bobby will marry Pam and the hurt in their eyes. So sad

7. Thanksgiving square Pam and bobby

8. Have to give homage to Susan Howard's 'should've got a Emmy nod' performance when told Donna and rays baby was Down's syndrome. AMAZING Susan! Steve was very good too but Susan OMG. I Loved ray and Donna this season. Such a shame what happened the next season

9. I really enjoyed all sue Ellen's and pams scene in Hong Kong - they both looked gorgeous and were so natural in their parts - but my favourite is the one where Pam is on the phone and says 'I'll buy that damn clinic' and sue Ellen's like I'm not gonna mess with you

10= Please don't make me choose. Lol JRs scene with Pam and Christopher near the end of 84-85 season and he tells her the truth if how feels about her and what he has done to her and now wants her back with bobby (don't we all)

10= AND the scene near the end of 83-84, at pams house, bobby comes to visit after marks death and the penny drops for Pam about the letter our fabulous Katherine wrote

BF, no (literally) Barbara (Bel Geddes) fan would vote any other scene list than the one you posted here. Being one myself, I must omit all those specific BBG scenes for the same reason. Because now I really must vote as a true Pam / VP fan!!

2- JR is slapped by Pam (Ewing Inferno) "God I hate that woman"
3- Sue Ellen says goodbye to Dusty (Lover Come Back) "You´ll never know how much I love you..."
4- Bobby saves Pam´s life and "dies" (Swan Song) "Noooooooooooooooooooooo!"
5- Sue Ellen reveals who shot JR (Who Done It) "It was you, Kristin..."
6- Cliff makes up with Mummy Rebecca (Full Circle) "You didn´t take any licorice..."
7- JR makes fun of Pam (Wheeler Dealer) "Who could hate that poor little girl..."
8- Donna tells Ray she´s pregnant (Swan Song) "What better reason could we have to get together again?"
9- Lucy learns that her fiancé Kit is gay (Royal Marriage) "I could make it work" (Yeah, Lucy. Whatever)
10- Rebecca´s whole speech at Thanksgiving Square (The Prodigal Mother) "I couldn´t stand losing 2 families"

Some nice choices there Toni that was a brilliant scene with sue Ellen and dusty and also Lucy's last scene with mickey alive was touching.

And oh yes Pam did some great slaps throughout the series. Her Gerald Kane one was a fav. Oh and the fun physic scene (no slap involved) in 84-85 who pam goes to see to ask if mark is alive. Adds to the mystery and excitement and it was something that Dallas hadn't done before.
When you have to think about your favourite scenes, you realise there are so many, many great little scenes from lots of the characters, it really was a terrific show in its hey day.
Oh and I typed wrong year it was, of course, 84-85 oil barons ball where JR announced Bobbys engagement to that woman

lol...after this round of Semi finals we could do a grand final with the winner from each sub category at the end of it all?? How's that sound? So I mean like, if this appeals to you, at the end you pick the #1 top rated miss Ellie scene, the #1 top rated JR scene, the top rated Pam scene, Sue Ellen, Lucy, etc and we have a poll with them to determine the top 10 Dallas scenes?? What reckon? I suspect already Pam and Bobbys 1 scene will be the same one for each of them thanks again OME

Not necessarily, a few of my favourite Ellie scenes feature Donna Reed, more than I expected. I'll post my list tomorrow when I've finalised my 10.

This morning, it was Favorite Scenes, and now after coming back before a day has even passed, it is Favorite Miss Ellie scenes? I am confused. If you are going through all of the characters, would I not be able to vote for a scene again if it contains a character I already used, but is then also part of a scene with another character that gets used in another week? For example, say I vote for a scene with Miss Ellie that has Clayton in it, would I be able to use it again when/if there is a Favorite Scenes with Clayton weekly poll?

Also, will Katherine be a choice in this at all? I need to know because a lot of my favorite scenes are with Katherine and JR, and if she's not a choice, I would then just have to put those choices with Favorite Scenes with JR.

Sorry if all of that just confused the heck out of you @Ome I do really like this idea because we get to vote for even more, I just want to make sure I don't waste any of my votes.
